Brother do you even know what it takes to gameplan?

Personnel that executes.

The Patriots did not do that on offense tonight.
Ummm...the game plan was apparently run the ball on first down 4/5 first plays of drives 1st half. They failed. The one pass? A 23 completion to Boutte. Mcdaniels was so ****ing predictable all playoffs w running on first down

This is depressing but less than say against NYG and Philly
I have always heard how hard it was for teams to lose the SB because they were so close.

Hopefully it won’t sting the Pats as much since they are so ahead of schedule.

“Verbal” says you are either winning or learning.

Let’s hope the Pats learn the lessons they need from this.

Drake definitely looked injured out there. I have a feeling that the shoulder might have been a bigger problem than what they let on.

Injury aside he was absolutely timid all game.

This was a man playing like he was afraid to make a mistake. Vrabel absolutely arrested him after his turnovers in the first two games and Drake was gunshy the rest of the way.

Now that the rage has worn off, I’m left with:

Great season, the absolutely overachieved.

Lot of upgrades still needed, and honestly I’m disappointed in the entire offensive operation. Didn’t feel like staff had a great gameplan, made many adjustments, snd certainly didn’t seem Drake was mentally ready. He had deer in headlights look.

Impossible to know if that’s because he’s young, or if that’s just who he is.

What is certain is there is no single thing the organization could do that is more important than figuring out how to improve the O line.

Campbell got his ass kicked all night and all throughout the playoffs.

This play was blown dead but he was getting abused like this whenever the DE bull rushed him.

Looked fine plenty tonight. Just wouldn't unleash the ball as needed.

I only feel bad for my nephew. I remember how I felt as a kid in 96 when they lost.

Still I don't like losing. This is the 5th one I've seen. First world problems ya but losing only truly hurts when you mail it in. Which is what they did. Something you can't say about the previous 4 loses.

Fans cheer for the team and rip the team when they play like ****. You appear to the the failure in life who gets his patriots g string in a bunch whenever anyone rips the team. Glad to see were allowing personal insults. The tell of a losing argument is personal attacks. Glad I live in your head. Just like I apparently live in the heads of all the footy pajamas crew. The ****ing sucked tonight. Absolutely sucked. What's false about that statement? I think you need to reevaluate your existence
No they don’t, assholes do that.

You don’t have an argument so mine can’t be a losing one.

You have proven yourself to be an *******. It’s not an insult it’s a fact.

You ate the worst of the worst. You sit in your dingy trailer cashing your welfare check and cry about how embarrassing these players and coaches who are actually successful in life are.

I have no doubt you kicked your dog when you realized the win you think you are owed wasn’t going to happen, that is unless you had to sell your dog to pay for your Viagra because your cousin wanted a little.

A ton to learn from this game and postseason.

Anyone counting out Vrabel, Drake or the Patriots is kidding themselves. They are and will continue to be a problem in this league.

People talking.. Enjoy your moment because NE is ahead of schedule and getting better.

That was Mayo’s Maye returning. He defaulted to some bad issues I saw plenty of last year. He needs to play from behind a bit next year and learn to win and keep composure. His mind was gone after the fumble.
Yeah, I don’t hate Maye. I’m being critical of him because it comes from disappointment. I’m ok with the loss. I watched a lot of superbowls and this one was just an extra to me. Wish we won but what it is.

I think what infuriated me with Maye tho was both his body language and how he kept taking sack after sack and refused to throw the ball away. He didn’t seem fired up enough to me neither. He can and will learn from this but this was a game to forget from him

For all the good this team did, it feels like it was all ripped away in that final game. Raised more question marks than optimism for the future

There was a point this year where Campbell was statistically one of the best lineman in the league. Everything since his return from injury has been a total flip of the switch and I'm not sure whether it's prudent to chalk it up to coming back too early or if it's just better defenses really having his number.

They lost to Sam ****ing Darnold. That's is embarrassing. Josh mcdaniels couldn't scheme it enough to score ONE ****ing TD in the first half. ONE TD and it's a completely different game
Sam Darnold of the last few years has been really good and it wasn’t like he lit the Pats D up. He played well enough for his team to win.

Disappointing end to a promising season but in the end, least disappointing ((although still disappointing) Super Bowl loss in team history and I’ve been through them all. Better than XX because at least there was still a chance until close to the end and we really had no business being here anyway. Hopefully they can build on this season and improve in the future. Time will tell.
Yeah, this one only bothered me for maybe a minute or two. Already over it. I wanted the win obviously but I got to watch a lot of Patriot winning football. Getting to enjoy this one was simply cream on the cake. I didn’t need it but am still happy it was there. Thank you New England for letting me enjoy another one

Some of you are so desperate to gatekeep others fandoms.

The issue isn't anyone here. The issue is how badly the Patriots made adjustments.

Pathetic.
