Back in August, we scheduled 6 nights in Punta Cana, DR for 2/4-2/10 (completely forgetting it was SB weekend)

Sooooooo......... when it finally dawned on me several weeks ago that THIS was actually a possibility, I initially panicked.

But then....... this is the same all-inclusive resort we went to last year - - - with all you can eat/drink at 8 restaurants plus all you can eat/drink at the Sports Bar and 24 hour unlimited room service. I went from panic to ............ 'omg, this is gonna be pretty, pretty....good'.

So schedule is: (DR is 1hr ahead)
2-6 Beach
6-7:30 restaurant dinner
1st half Sports Bar
2nd half Room service

.

I did something similar last year. It was fantastic. Have fun!

I assume there won't be a Pats' radio broadcast for the SB - will there?? - so I'll probably listen to the broadcast audio.
I think they do. Because I remember watching the highlights afterward where they were synced up to the radio broadcast.

Thanks, Tom! May it become a tradition for the next 15-20 years of Vrabel-Maye Super Bowls

I'm in a tiny cabin up in the mountains for the winter. No running water but I have electricity. Will be watching over the internet one way or another.
That sounds lovely.
I could really use a cabin in the woods right now.

100% Pape: Friends think I'm rude but they just don't understand: I just like being with my Game thoughts.

I'm the opposite, I get too stressed when I'm by myself. In my old neighborhood we went to an annual party and I've missed it since we moved away. So I just bought a projector and screen to host a party!

I typically ban any other human from the basement but as I get older and wiser, I am like Bob Barker, 'come on down'.

I feel when I we 'should' win and we don't, that **** is more stressful but this year it's like, I am all good either way (ultimately of course wanting to win - we are after all a very lucky(no)...fortuitous...fan base). Proud of the guys and the organization from all they have accomplished this year. That being said, 'stay thirsty my friends'...you may never get to this game ever again. #LayTheWood

I'm going to the game but if I weren't, I'd watch by myself or maybe with my dad. If my daughter were still in RI, I'd watch with her.

No parties evah. I hate people even more than usual during big Pats games.

Last November my wife and I actually booked a one week winter break in Lanzarote starting next Friday!

So I am going to have to watch it on my iPad in our hotel room on Sunday!

I'm hoping that Brady isn't color for the game if I have to watch it on TV.

Bad Bunny is painful enough.

Uncertain. Somewhat depends on local weather.

Very much depends on what opportunities for viewing, especially in the DC area, present themself between now and then.

Might go to my favorite DC area Patriots bar, Murphy’s in Alexandria, but it will certainly be a chaotic zoo. Might go to my favorite local bar out here in the Shenandoah Valley. Could just watch it at home. Might even hit the road up to New England. I’ll know by next weekend I guess.

I'm gonna have to TIVO it unfortunately - so everyone promise, on game day, NO SPOILERS here at Patsfans until at least 3 hours after the game.

Cool?

Haha, people are the worst!

Postgame:
if Pats lose - nightclub drowning sorrows
if Pats win - inhaling the internet

It sounds like you may be at the same resort I was last year to watch THE Ohio State University win the Natty.
It was fun, and lots of Buckeye fans there.

Embrace the Mamajuana

Most of the tv critics and sports reporters that were ripping him his first season are now giving him glowing reviews on how much he has improved this season. This offseason he told Fox executives overseeing football that he had to much information in front of him for games so going forward he would prepare for games like he did as a QB, they were fine with it.
