Long story short, the Patriots have essentially locked themselves out of the 1 seed because Rob Gronkowski was selected to play FS over Devin McCourty.

Chargers would, unless they lose too. But The Chargers essentially have zero home field advantage, with apathetic fans / tiny venue

Chiefs are not getting out of the AFC.

In a rematch if I’m Josh I tell Brady to be going for 2 every single TD and I bet they make most of them.

Chiefs because the Chiefs are 4-1 in-divison and Chargers are 3-2. If both teams win out or lose out, the Chiefs would win the division.

If the Pats take care business vs Pittsburgh everything is gravy again! KC has another primetime night game on the west coast @ Seattle who's been on tear as of late! I can see the Chargers winning their last 2 games vs Baltimore and @ Denver or splitting the last 2!

According to the ESPN playoff machine, as long as we win out we need KC to lost to Seattle and LA to lose one more. I know that thing can be buggy so take it with a grain of salt

It was a ballsy call, that’s for sure. Not sure I’d have the guts for that when the division and potential #1 seed are on the line.

Lucky for HC Anthony Lynn, the play worked out, or people would be talking about it for a long, long time.

To get #1 we need / needed 4 things:

Chargers over Chiefs. Check.
Chiefs lose another, probably @ Seattle (play game 16 @home vs. Raiders)
Chargers lose another, probably vs. Baltimore, could also be @ Den
Patriots win out
