I'm selling. Minnesota should be in there somewhere, probably instead of Philadelphia.

Buy or sell: The Packers will make the playoffs without the "comeback king."

Sell. They overachieved last year.

Colts choke again in the devisional round of the playoffs

Buy or sell They Texans make the playoffs this year (i'm buying)

Sell...The conference (and their division) is too tough, unless you are buying a Colts dropoff, which I'm definately not. They'll be in the mix in November I suppose, but they're not good enough to win 10 in this conference.

Along the above lines...The Colts will win at least 12 games again.

Colts choke again in the devisional round of the playoffs

Buy...there should be more talk about how the colts are gonna deal this year....wasnt there talk of sanders(the most overrated safety Ive ever heard of) and Freeney starting the year on the PUP list??

Vrabel and Thomas combine for at least 18 sacks

I simply don't see how one freak injury (I put this in the same category as Sammy Morris' injury) makes someone "more likely" to miss time (which is the classic definition of injury prone in my book).

Because he re-injured it.

Sell. I think it will be the divisional round. I think the Jags may actually win the division this year. I can see Indy heading to Pittsburgh in the Wild Card round and getting bounced.

Sorry, I broke the chain so I won't continue the break with a new statement.

Buy, but I doubt anyone will give me odds. They combined for 18 last year, so it's not what you'd call a daring offer, esp. with Thomas playing outside and Seymour healthy. I do think we'll see more sacks from the interior and the secondary. So ...

The defensive secondary combines for 6+ sacks. (Last year they had 3). Hobbs gets at least 2, Meriweather at least 1.

Because he re-injured it.

I guess it's a matter of interpretation, but I see that as the result of the Pats rushing him back too soon (they were eager enough to get him back on the field that they held a roster spot for him rather than keep him on PUP, and that was even with Watson and Kyle Brady on the roster).

Tough call, but I'll go with my heart, which wants an aggressive secondary, and say BUY.

And now I'll go a little out of Foxboro for mine:

People will still be talking about whether or not Lord Favre will play for the Packers when the Packers' TC opens.

When training camp opens? I will buy that. I think he will probably be traded if he comes back, but I don't know if it will happen by the start of training camp.

TO now with a new contract will go back to his old troubled ways.

Buy- without Tuna the cowboys will be lacksidasical in the discipline department.

Buy or Sell - Eli will outshine his brother this year??

It may be a matter of interpretation but you say they rushed him back I say if he wasn't ready to be back than he is prone to injury or at least prone to rehab really slow. And if either are true than you have to be concerned about his health thus he is labled injury prone.

unless you can say that you have no concern wether that leg is healthy than I think you are just splitting hairs. If you have some info I don't and you know that leg is 100% than maybe I am wrong but until we know the Leg has been healthy and no longer an issue I am gonig to put him in the health concern catogory otherwise known as injury prone.

Buy - because I can't pick Peyton but also because the Giants might have the better weapons for their Manning.

SF winds up with a pick higher or lower than 7

Sell. Eli went from goat to hero in the Super Bowl because of two dropped interceptions, a lack of following through with a sack, and a miracle catch. Eli was lackluster most of last year and was just average in the playoffs.

As much as I hate Peyton, he is clearly worlds better than his brother and probably will be until he retires.

Jerod Mayo gets at least Defensive Rookie of the Year consideration. And Vernon Gholston doesn't.

Buy. Gholston busts and mayo is filthy.

Special teams scores atleast 3 touchdowns

You seem to be conflating two significantly different things: "health concerns", which IMO are based on "past" issues, and "injury-prone" status, which IMO is the tendency to get injured in the "future". I agree that there is a health concern with Thomas (i.e., has he fully recovered?), but I see nothing in this incident that would make me think he's at increased risk of other injuries in the future.

If anyone's conflating on this board, either by themselves or in the company of others, they should be banned. I mean, if you can't write Hitch****, you sure as heck shouldn't be conflating in public. Now can we please get back to buying and selling?

BUY--I sure as heck hope so. [As I've said before, not kicking to Devin Hester works because you can't count on Wrecks moving the ball. Do you want to take that same bet against Brady et al.?]

Gostkowski leads all Patriots in scoring.

They are not two significantly different things. They are two interelated things. Why does someone get labled as injury prone? Because of their past health concerns and specifically wether this past issue might affect the future. And seeing as this injury has already resurfaced once before I would say I have a concern.

If you want to parse words, every player in the NFL is injury prone. Unless you are a doctor and have examined his foot it is pointless to declare it prone to injury more so than any other player's foot.

There is a separation between being injury prone and having a concern about a past injury (which is usually more likely to be injured again), or do you agree that Brady is injury prone?

Brady is injury prone he justs plays thru them. By reports and rumors he has injured his ankles twice, and had 2 hernia's (if you believe the birdies), not to mention he has been listed on the injury report for 60 weeks with a shoulder injury which we at the very least know was injured in 02.

I would sooner say that every player is injury prone than I would say Thomas isn't.

Look at what you wrote particularly what is in bold an tell me that isn't the same as being injury prone or to be more accurate more injury prone.

Also I don't think you have to be a DR to assume someone who has had an injury is more likely to injure it again than someone to injure it once. It may not always be the case but in the absence of a DR coming out and saying that he is no more or less prone than any other non-injured player I think it is fair to assume he is more likely.
