Schefter is suggesting that Miami will take Chad Henne with this pick.

True enough. Smart pick. Clearly, they imported new brains in Miami. Silly me, though. I said the same thing when they hired Nick Saban.

Well, there goes Dexter Jackson. . . .

I always felt that Saban was good for Miami, but the lack of a proper GM and organizational structure was the real problem. He once made a comment about not getting the proper players - and the year they drafted Jason Allen the player he really asked the front office to go out and get was Ngata. Watching that situation and the way he left always led me to believe that the infrastructure was already too rotten for a coach to change it.

Which is exactly why Parcells overseeing all the football operations was the right move for the franchise. Mueller was a disaster for that team - their new quarterback has already been replaced, and need I mention their very highly paid kick returner?

I would go with Avril if we take OLB at 62.
Two real good RBs available in Kevin Smith and Jamaal Charles as well.

I just want another LB. pass rusher would be great. or use a third for a one trick pass rushing pony.

i wouldn't doubt if the pats trade a third for a 2 next year

Boy, I'm hoping they select Avril here. My other options are Chevis Jackson, Reggie Smith, Kevin Smith, and maybe an O-linemen.

Martellus Bennet goes to Dallas. Did Jerry Jones outsmart himself picking him ahead of the Pats?

I guess they did just trade Fasano, but still.

CB Terrence Wheatley

5'9... 4.37 forty

Terrence Wheatley?

Cliff Avril is still on the board!

Maybe Avril will last to 69th overall? I actually thought he would be off the board earlier, and he seems like a great fit for the Patriots.

FWIW, Wheatley was on the Patriots list of interest, and he could be a good pick for them.

I'm kind of surprised the Patriots allowed such a large gap between their picks.

I wouldn't have predicted this pick.
