[OFFICIAL] Superbowl Conspiracy Theory...

They lost because the offense, defense, and coaching choked. You cann get new players.... how do you fix a choking coaching staff? hopefully it was a one time fluke.

I should point out my post wasn't directed in anger at you, just in the general idea of a conspiracy that caused us to lose the game.

Uh no. THe Pats won a bunch of games. Then they lost one.

They. Lost. The. Game.

Deal.

PFnV

I heard that Belichick was actually a Hologram controlled by the illuminati.

ok, thanks. I still can't watch NFL network or ESPN tho

when I first read this I did so quickly and thought it said Mike Holmgren.
explains seattle tho

oh please. The Patriots got Beat, plain and simple.

The whole team was affected by everything...to a small degree each.
You're a 30 year old kid playing in the Super Bowl and a week before
the game a US senator says he wants to call you to a congressional
hearing along with your coach. That can't go well with an ankle injury
of unknown severity.
That whole Specter spectacle was an intentional psyche job on our guys.
I know our guys say no, the Giants just played better and God bless our guys for their sportsmanship but I still can't help but think that if there was no spygate distraction, the game would have turned out differently.

Yeah, I agree with the stuff above as well.

It all did add up.

Totally agree.

And the theory was just for fun...

I wasn't serious about it.

...or was I????

I like Taquitos.

The flour tortilla ones, not the corn ones.

You know, TGiaCG, I always have my tin hat at the ready
but I just can't go along with this theory. It just seems silly.
As if BB would throw a game to protect RG's ineptness.
I like my theory much better.

it's only for amusement.

not seriousness.

I have a theory:

The Giants played better than the Pats.

I know this was a tough loss for the Pats to swallow, but common, seriously. Conspiracy theories??? If someone asked me who was the BEST team in the NFL in 2007, it would be the Patriots, without question. Are the Pats better than the Giants? Yes, I would say so. If you played 5 games, the Pats would win 4. Unfortunately, in this case, the one loss was the Superbowl. "Any Given Sunday" is not just a saying.

That's what makes the playoffs great is that ANY team can take it all the way. Look at the Chargers in 2006, heavy favorites for the SB and we get knocked out in the first round by the Pats - and the Pats were not better than the Chargers in 2006, IMO.

Time to move on Pats fans, and look forward to next year. You will still be the #1 Seed and will be heavy favorites for the SB - until the Chargers knock you out in the first round!! :D

blah blah blah...

the chargers were busy eating suschi too...

that makes you fart alot as well.
:singing:

Fish tacos, not sushi. Very bad gas indeed. :D

Are fish tacos good? I have always wanted to try one. Can you make some recommendations on what to get on it if I ever get the chance?
