Will Mike Vrabel get a TD Pass in the Super Bowl (which would make it 3 TDs in 3 consecutive SBs for the Pats) or does he get a sack (or two)?

I am 100% sure he will get one of them,Which to you is more likely going to happen?

You can also say he will have both but lets go with one here.....

If you call tripping a sack! Haha...just kidding. Im going with a sack or two. Its gonna be Moss and Welker all day in the endzone.

I think he's more likely to get a sack.

I say both.

Has it ever been done before?

Did The Refridgerator have a sack?

Vrabel had a sack/forced fumble and TD against Carolina.

Not sure if had a sack Against Philly.

I think he is more likely to get a Touchdown, but I think he gets both again.

Vrabel averages more sacks per game than TDs. Not even close.

Vrabel did have a sack in the Philly SB, as well as a TD obviously.

A sack is more likely. TDs will be tough for him these days. He's done it so much that whenever he checks in, they defend him. You can bet the Giants will practice for it. Just an example, I think it was the Jags game and when he checked in, you could hear, very clearly, a Jags defender yell out Vrabel's number several times. Defenses are definitely not overlooking him anymore. The good news is that someone else should be open.

As late as the Giants game, they weren't really doing a good job of covering him--he nearly caught Tom's 50th TD.

But I expect that even if they do cover him, he often manages to get open--and from what I've seen on the films, most of the time, it's when coverages break down that he gets the TD's.

At the very least, though, the fact that they actually have to take people off of Moss, Welker, Gaffney, etc., to cover our linebacker can't hurt.

I hope he does both, but will be pulling for a TD!! I just love it when he catches touchdowns!!

I bet the list of people who have TD catches in 3 straight Super Bowl appearances is pretty short.

I thought like you did before the Jags game and sure enough the Jags were aware and made the play.( Actually I'm not surer if it was the Jags game either )
But they'll still send Mike out if this situation happens and it probably will.

I suspect the list reads as follows:

Jerry Rice.

[Of the players with four or more Super Bowl TD's of any kind, Rice is the only one with three or more receptions (he had 8). So Vrabel and Rice would be extremely odd listmates if he manages to extend his streak to three SB's in a row.]

You know when they get the chance near the goal line Brady will throw to Vrabel and get a TD. No question about it. Vrabel gets a TD for sure in the SB.
