I don't understand how people call Peyton's 400 yard, 3 TD day a choke job, but forget to mention that holy coach of theirs just happened to let a possible retirement story break the week of a freaking playoff game. We have not seen a **** head move like that since Parcells did us dirty, but am I the only one who thinks thats why the Colts came out so flat?

They just didn't seem there as a TEAM today at all. I dunno about everyone else, but I think it's all Dungy. He basicly made it clear in PLAY OFF time the team was losing importance to him. I bet you if Belichick pulled that **** he'd be eaten alive, and rightfully so. I just think it's ridiculous to give him such a free pass.

Just my opinion, but Dungy had enough talent on the Bucs that Tampa Bay should have gone to at least two Super Bowls before he was let go. He's given a lot of credit for turning that franchise around, but bringing in better players probably had more to do with the change in ownership there and new GM & director of player personnel. Personally, I think he's a bit over-rated as a head coach.

He didn't seem all too broken up over losing the game today. Must be that "quiet strength" working its magic again.

Why don't the good folks at NBC show his mug about 4,000 more times during a game, he looks like someone just stole his dog on the sideline, while Norv was actually coaching, night and day, night and day................

I bet you anything he is done. It's so obvious football is second in his life it's ridiculous.

I don't think the retirement thing was a big deal, certainly not a distraction.

But, Dungy's teams have a long history in two cities of losing playoff games that they should win. That's a FACT.

Only team in NFL history to record 5 straight seasons of 12+ wins - yet they appeared in only one SB during that stretch (and getting to that one was aided by by some outrageously pro-Colts referees, just like they were today).

The sooner the sanctimonious St. Dungy retires, the better, IMO.

You would think someone who has "quiet" strength could STFU about his offseason plans.

The Atlanta Braves of football, huh?

Hard to believe a bunch of DBs on this board actually jumped down my throat when I suggested Dungy doesn't belong in the HOF. I think his playoff record is below .500 now.

Except I'm sure if the Braves had the refs helping them to the extent the refs help the colts they would've won more than one
