I think it’s the preference for youth. Vrabel is serious about giving young players opportunities and seeing what they can do in response. The waiver claims are on the payroll for three games, Hunter as an FA signing can be cut at any time afaik. So they can give the kids a couple of games and if they don’t rise to the occasion it’s still nbd to cut them and sign a vet. But I think they’ll do well enough to stick.I assume this is what they are doing with Daqua or Naquan (on Vikings PS) signing them after the 1st game (Tonga replacement).
I thought Thompson too but we signed so many LBs I am not sure now. If they were intent on Thompson,I doubt they would have signed 3 LBs.
