RB3 is Who?

It’s a very weak group outside of Rhamondre and Henderson. Obviously you would love Antonio Gibson pre-ACL as a third option but alas that’s just how it is sometimes. Hope that Henderson and Rham stay healthy. Both provide skills we will be hurting without.

I’d rather have someone better. You act as if that’s blasphemy.
I haven’t acted in anyway.
I said I’m glad we have him and you aren’t.
Both things are true, nothing blasphemous about it.
Sometimes you just need to accept we have a difference of opinion and there is no judgment.

He is a wide receiver whose production per playing time is extremely low. It has been his entire career. Last year was his 5th team in 5 years.
I don’t hate the man, I just think we could do much better with the available WR snaps than giving them to him.

46 receptions on 65 targets for 550 yards and 2 TD's last year.

Anyone with that line can be our WR4 any day of the week and twice on Sundays (shrugs).

But thanks for answering.

He didn’t out those numbers up as a WR4

Probably not worth a thread of it's own, but good news on the RB front.

You want your 3rd down back to be able to pick up blitzes and be a very good receiver, Larison is clearly the frontrunner on both counts.

Henderson has been having a very quiet camp, no? I have not read about any long runs, but zI haven’t been there. I think there is much room for improvement running, catching and blocking. If he has not improved, we don’t have a reliable RB behind Mondre.

Pretty sure he’s ahead of Stevenson

You think Henderson is ahead of Stevenson on the depth chart?
He definitely is not.
Maybe he can pass him as the year goes, but he is most certainly behind him today.

He passed him last year. 50 more carries 308 more yards, and more catches.

So you think Hendo will start the year ahead of Stevenson, so more carries and snaps in the first game and beyond.
You are pretty alone in that opinion.

Why wouldn’t I think that, he had 50 more carries last year, and was more effective . What do you think changed

I think it's possible, Stevenson gets worked in more situationally.

It was a strange year for Rham with his dad passing, putting the ball on the ground..etc.
As the year went on he earned back trust and was really good.
If you want to really know who the coaching staff thinks is the starter, you can look at the most recent games, the 4 in the playoffs.

Rham: 13/20/25/12 touches
Henderson: 10/13/3/9 touches.

That’s 70 to 35, double the touches for Stevenson in the most important games of the year, win or go home.

So to answer your question, nothing has changed.
Rham was the starter to end last season and still is today.

Honestly they are pretty much 1a and 1b. Both will probably get more or less the same number of carries based on teams they are playing.

Agree it’s a pretty even workshare, with Rham projected to get a little more.
That’s how it stands today, Henderson could certainly eat into Rhams touches, he has an opportunity.
