Aside from the obvious no-calls, holdings, BB’s refusal to kick the field goal instead of going for it etc..Boy, Eli made numerous impeccable, timely throws. Not only in the SB, but throughout the entire postseason; though (IMHO) none will ever top that 2011 SB sideline throw to Manningham. Credit where credit is due. Playoff-Alzheimer’s Eli was a gamer.
Eli's greatest game will always be the 2011 NFC Championship against SF. Manning was 32 for 58, 316 yds and 2 TDs. He was hit 20 times (including 6 sacks). Few were soft hits, he was pounded. I have never seen a QB take that kind of beating and survive, never mind go to the SB.
