Maye #11 on NFL top 100 list

These lists tend to be vague. Are we looking at entire career, or how they’re playing now…?

Still crazy to me this time last year we probably could lock in about half the day one starters. Fast forward to now and we know pretty much every starter out of the 22 and have a QB coming off a season where he was a couple votes shy of MVP.

Can't watch the clip bc I don't use Twitter...

I hereby declare it a “10-piece” when referring to an exceptional throw by Maye. Great motto. Apologies to Jaylin Hawkins for stealing this…It’s too good not to..

Seems that Drake is pretty well liked around the league and that helps too with these lists. McCorkle Jones not so much.

Probably both. Mahomes is #18 and he was the 23rd rated QB in the league last year...

If I had to guess, probably some weight to the entire career (hence Mahomes' rating), some weight to projected performance, and probably the highest weight to how they did last year. Notice, I was vague by saying "some weight", because some players get the beneficial ratios, like Mahomes, while others are weighted differently. Whether it's a purely analytical call or a product of marketing priorities is in the eye of the beholder...

...and we know how that goes.

Next off season they'll just need to drop one of the 1's, from 11 to 1.

Purdy, Dak, Love, Daniels (WTF!!!!) are ahead of Maye. If the Patriots offered Maye for any of those guys, would their GM's say no? Absolutely the hell not. Jmo.

So this list has to be based on guys who have been around longer. More pedigree. An explanation is needed on Daniels>Maye though. I don't think any team in the league takes him over Maye.

Maye is the flavor of the moment.

If he has a not so hot 2026 watch how fast the pundits ditch him for somebody new.

This one is players supposedly voting on performance last year.

Also, I'm not sure exactly how it works, but players don't rank 100 players; they list their top *20*.

More likely, because of his injuries, Daniels isn't ranked at all.

All of the others are lower than Maye on this year's list. Dak was 31, Purdy and Love around 70.

I think the Commanders are in danger of having another bad season, and if Daniels misses time again they would be looking at drafting his replacement next draft.

If all NFL players were put in a draft and every team started over, I think Drake goes 1st overall.

I’m happy with the rating, being rated the 11th best player in the NFL is quite an accomplishment.

It’s really been a pleasure watching Maye progress from a really promising rookie to who showed us flashes of greatness, to runner up in the MVP and reaching the Super Bowl, and now being rated 11th in the whole NFL.

And now he has some serious weapons on the team. Diggs was a good addition last year, and helped in Maye’s progression, but AJ Brown may actually be a top 10 receiver in the NFL, and Romeo Doubs is an established player as well. Already seems to have good chemistry with both. This should be an interesting year, Maye’s year 1 jump to year 2 was incredible, can he match that or even surpass that jump ?

It’s gonna be fun finding out.

Are you looking at last season's list? None of those guys are ahead of Maye on this one.
