But if they had nailed those picks, Mayo might still be coach rn, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯In consecutive rounds Wolfe passed on Ladd Mconkey in favor of Polk then capped it off by picking Wallace

Makes one wonder of Crownover is a cut candidate, can they trade him for about what we used to draft him?
The pick for Wallace is in 2028.Miami is fighting for the AFCE bottom with NY Jets.
Supposedly the 2027 QB class looks good so losing for the Phins might pay off and benefit the Pats too picking high in round 6.
I think what Triumph was trying to say was that the Phins are tanking in order to get the 1st overall pick in the 2027 class, and spending a 6th on a player who is probably bad but they can play anyway under the guise of “developing” him on the way to piling up losses helps them get there. They only risk injuring their current QB, who they hope to replace anyway. The pick for Wallace is in 2028.
12 teams ahead of the LOLphins on the waiver wire. Guess they were just that concerned that the Jete would claim him!LOLphins gonna LOLphin.
