It's easy, and only takes a few moments.your expectations for Landry do not align with the teams expectationsWell we have Dre'Mont Jones - Elijah Ponder and now Jacas...we need at least one more EDGE to emerge. I'm not expecting anything from Landry except being on IR.
look at some of the tweets from practiceMeh. More player-speak platitudes. Show me.
I really hope this kid is the real deal, but standing in front of the reporters isn't what we need him to do. Go throw some dudes "outdaclub" and I'll be happy.
Exactly. One day at a time. I think we’ll need to wait awhile to see how good Jacas is/isn’t.I hope he right.
I hope he's the proverbial bull in the china shop
I hope his play on the field makes me eat a **** ton of crow from all my haters
But pardon me while I slow my roll about his play
He hasn't even had a day of full participation in camp yet
one thing he is....is hugeExactly. One day at a time. I think we’ll need to wait awhile to see how good Jacas is/isn’t.
It doesn't matter how Big you are if you can't set it. Really hoping we are better there.one thing he is....is huge
he is 270 ish
Dre Jones is 280 ish
Pats are going to be a lot bigger on the edge this season.
Well being big certainly helps one set the edge.It doesn't matter how Big you are if you can't set it. Really hoping we are better there.
He seems more likely to put people standing up into wheel chairs. Will Jacas make people in Wheelchairs stand up??
I remember that. Thought jez man you don't look too happy about that pick.I thought the look on his face on draft night was due to the Patriots drafting him, and I never got the impression that he ever wanted to be here.

He denies it, but he said he always has that look on his face. He did say he was surprised that NE took him because they never spoke to him. The guy was very entitled the day he arrived which many on this board rushed to his defense.I remember that. Thought jez man you don't look too happy about that pick.
I’m sure that’s one reason they took him. Ideally, they are at least more physical at the position. But obviously, size by itself isn’t going to determine how well he’ll play.one thing he is....is huge

no. but clearly, as well as he played, they wanted to be bigger than Chiasson.I’m sure that’s one reason they took him. Ideally, they are at least more physical at the position. But obviously, size by itself isn’t going to determine how well he’ll play.
Yep. Chiasson was a fun player. Made some nice plays last season. But he was undersized to hold up on the edge. Would wear down against the run. I liked him, but I think Jacas can me a more complete player.no. but clearly, as well as he played, they wanted to be bigger than Chiasson.
clearly, they are how

....why would and edge rusher's ability to 'cover in the passing game' matter in the slightest? Not yet... not yet. Can he cover in the passing game? Have you guys seen it? Don't annoint...
