Mack’s off season grind

I think they should explore the idea of making him a move TE.
Don't know if it'd be the best use of his skill, but he seems like he could definitely handle the extra weight & mass addition and has the strength & grit if he ever wanted to do it.

Barefoots Two best years in the Pros have been under Josh McDaniels.

The guy is probably pound for pound one of the strongest on the team. The effort he put into the overhead press tells me all I need to know.
Pound for pound, yeah. He's definitely the strongest receiver they had. Interestingly enough, his mentee Efton Chism is probably second.

Efton Chism is stronger than AJ Brown?
I meant among last year's squad. [In any case, going on listed weight, Brown apparently has 25-30 pounds on Chism, so it's possible that proportionally speaking, yes, Chism could be stronger.]

Very Interesting
Looks like he showed some speed in that one clip. At least he’s working on it.

First time I saw those was without the captions, so I was wondering how much weight he was carrying on that sled. Caption says 260kg so about 570#. That’ll develop leg strength to move the pile.

260 kg yoke / loaded bar shoulder carry. That's impressive for a WR. Teams are going to have a tough time matching up against him, Brown and Doubs plus a TE or two.

And add really strong catch performance - second only to Boutte in the ESPN rankings (Pats here had 3 of the top 5 catch performances in the NFL):

Kid isn't a "Stud" as far as Fantasy goes, but he is solid as fkn in REAL Competition.
I don't think guys are begging to have to cover him.
Tough guy.

Gee, the only thing our guys are good at is catching the ball. Isn't that a really good thing?

Too skinny. 6'4, 221. For reference:

Hernandez: 6'1, 245
Kelce: 6'5, 250
Gronk: 6'6, 265
Gates: 6'4, 255
Henry: 6'4, 255.

That 30-40lb muscle difference is a gulf, and is the difference between a WR and TE.

Tough guy.
That’s the thing, he just does his job in the football field, even (perhaps especially) when it’s not pitting up big FF numbers.

He is rock solid on the field, a great locker room presence, and an absolutely lovable character. But not a fantasy cheat code so gets no respect.
