While there's no debate Garrett>Gonzo, the Rams were able to pull this off because they didn't have to weaken their secondary to do it. The Pats secondary without Gonzo would be really weak.

Line wrecking action helps the secondary.... also Garrett has played in 50 games the last 3 years (17,17,16) ...Gonzo 34 (14, 16, 4) ... and heading towards a hold out this year. Willing to bet if you truth serum Vrabel.... Garrett over Gonzo as well... Garrett had ALWAYS PLAYED hard even for that joke of a franchise... and plays...
