PATRIOTS NEWS 2026 Pats schedule leaks

Breaking New England Patriots Team News
I predicted 7 wins last season, I suppose underestimating both our team and how bad some of our opponents were. Definitely did not expect Maye to have an MVP caliber season. Last season's run was all house money as far as I'm concerned. The playoff and Super Bowl experience they got can't possibly be coached only experienced and they're so much better for it even if the Super Bowl wasn't meant to be.

Based on where they're at in this rebuild and the state of the roster now I think with good health 10 wins and a playoff spot is very doable so I'll go with that as my prediction. Also very possible that's good enough for the division as the Bills schedule is hard too.

Our window isn't wide open yet like some other teams but it's slowly starting to open.

Why would you expect a 14 win team with an mvp caliber qb that has improved its roster to more than double its losses?

i see they gave us chiefs and broncos late to give mahomes and nix extra time.
At least the Pats have extra rest before the Chiefs game

Bills on a Sunday at 4 and then having to play the Vikes 4 days later on TNF blows chunks

IMO they overachieved last year. Most teams do when they improve by 10 wins overnight, and that's really hard to sustain. Yeah they're better than the team that got rolled by the Seahawks in February. But now they see better opponents in 2026, a grueling schedule with all those prime time games, AJB is not here yet so as of this moment it's a downgraded WR room, a full year's tape on last year's team, changes to the OL which needs to proven on the field before I call them upgrades. Can AVT stay healthy? I'd still call the LB position a major hole on the roster as of right now and it's all on tape how TE's chewed them up last season. We're still thin at a bunch of positions like S, DT and probably CB.

The arrow is pointing up but I need to see more before I call them true Super Bowl contenders.

I've never heard of a team having to play 2 Thursday night games in a season, it's not right. The first one is at Chicago, which is a tough opponent and away, maybe causing us to lose a game we'd otherwise win. And the extra rest for the next game isn't valuable cause it's vs the Phins.

With the Vikings, the circumstances are a little better. We're home for both the Sunday & Thursday games. The Vikings are fairly average, though we'll have to be careful of a letdown after a huge Buffalo game. The extra rest after the Vikes game will be valuable for a big game at KC.

Rough sledding this year boys.. gonna be a bloodbath...

you’re joking, right?

They play weeks 1 and 8. Now both QBs should be back by week 8 but we’ll 1 is up in the air.
no.

Can't remember but I thought the Bills played 2 TNF games last season

Mixed feelings overall about the schedule. It will be exciting facing this many quality opponents, that's for sure.

The 3 long trips are kind of neutralized travel-wise: Seattle is game 1, for Munich we're home the week before then have the bye after, and we'll be coming off the bye for the trip to LA. So the long flights and jetlag shouldn't affect us nearly as much as they could have.

Tough first month, good chance we'll start 1-3, but also a good chance we'll rebound to 3-3 and hopefully to 6-4 at the bye. The key to our season will be weeks 9-10 vs Green Bay and Detroit. If we're good, we need to beat those 2 good teams.

Having two Thursday games sucks, though the one vs the Vikes gives us extra rest going into KC for a huge MNF match.

Amazon probably wanted something better than JETE/Pats TNF with all the cash they are paying.

Looks like Steelers and Ravens also have 2 TNF dates.

I've got KC penciled in as one of the more likely wins on the schedule. They're not dramatically better, got older, and were a 6 win team last year.

Did Kermit tell You he won't be playing or will Chris Jones announce his retirement before gametime?? Inquiring minds want to know.

It happens every year, to multiple teams. You just never noticed until it happened to New England.

NE may win.
NE may lose.

But it is weaksauce to blame a loss on the fact that they played TNF.

I don't care if he plays or not. He's been awful for 2 years. I'd rather face Mahomes than your boy right now. Chris Jones is 32, and took obvious snaps off during games last year. Kelce will be 37 by the time that game rolls around.

At some point, people have to stop living in 2022. The Chiefs suck now. The Bills are on the decline. The Ravens are circling the drain to irrelevancy. That era is over.

That’s essentially what happened. Amazon’s first season was a disaster with atrocious games. They complained to the NFL and the NFL, knowing on what side their bread is buttered, responded.

Can I hold you to your prediction??

Whether you do or don't won't stop you and the past-livers from ****ting their pants every time the Chiefs are mentioned, like we haven't all watched the same games last year. Mahomes was cooked before the injury. He had a great run, but his time as an escape artist is over, and he has to transition to being a pure pocket QB. I don't think he can make that transition well enough to make the Chiefs good.

FTR: you talk about Mahomes like he's 41 he'll be 31 to be exact...far from Done!

The travel is more daunting then the actual teams we will face.. compare the teams we will face to our QB/HC combination.. we have essentially 3 head coaches on this team.. Vrabel, Josh, Marrone..
