Vrabel did the team dirty. I do know this. They pissed someone off. Just like Kraft, someone said oh yeah well **** you dude. Thats why this is happening. Vrabel and or Russini did something to piss someone off. Thats the only reason these people get caught. If you don't have someone out to get you, nobody cares.

LOL! I am sure they are holding back those pictures of Vrabel and Russini at a sex brothel in Thailand for the right time.

The more these things come out the less impact they have. Yesterday's story was a nothing story. We found out that while Vrabel and Russini were carrying out a multiyear secret affair they went out on dates. Stop the presses.

And how did Vrabel do the Patriots dirty by starting an affair when he was the head coach of the Tennessee Titans and five years before he was hired by the Patriots? Did he know that he would get fired by the Titans and then get hired by the Patriots and waited for this affair to come out after he brought the Patriots to the Super Bowl?

The players will continue to back Vrabel. In fact, the more they feel the press are out to get Vrabel, it could make them even more loyal to Vrabel. Circling the wagons is a known psychological phenomenon. When one of their own is attacked, people become even more feverrant in their support.

Vrabel the person and Vrabel the coach are not two separate entities. They're the same guy.

He's not losing his job over this for disciplinary reasons. He didn't do anything illegal. It's unlikely that players are gonna have issues with him on the field because of who's he's having sex with. But that's not ever the angle to look at it from. This has potential to impact the team because Vrabel the person is the same as Vrabel the coach and HOW ON EARTH could this not impact him to some degree???

If he's hanging out with this women over 6 years INCLUDING A PRIVATE BOAT WHILE SHE'S 7 MONTHS PREGNANT this is not some random lustful affair. This is a whole ass second life he was hiding from his wife. Either that kid is his or he actually has feelings for her instead of or instead of his wife. I don't see how anyone could think anything different if he's renting a boat with her while she's got a 7 month pregnant belly. Either that or he's just got a pregnant fetish lmao

You're all out of your absolute minds if you think this isn't going to effect his mental standing and the person he is day to day and the person he is day to day is who's coaching the team. I can't tell you exactly what those effects are but it's pretty foolish to think he's not going to be a different demeanor to some degree this year which will affect the team how it affects the team.

Nah! How does that change anything? An affair is an affair. Even if either kid was his, he may not have known they were his. But even so, that is an issue between Vrabel and his family and Russini and her's.

We have players who have four or five or ten baby mothers. Some have multiple women pregnant at the same time.

I am sorry. This incident may have me looking differently at Vrabel as a person, but that doesn't change that he is still one of my all time favorite players and a hellava head coach.

But if we are going to play moral police in the NFL, they would have to remove probably 20-30% of the players from the Hall of Fame.

There was a show called Fix My Life, hosted by a woman named Iyanla Vanzant. In one of the episodes she interviewed 6 men who had 87 children with 50 different mothers. One guy said that he had 24 children and he didn't look very old at all. I posted the video here a couple of years ago but now I can't find it.

However, that headline doesn't sell as well. Making it sound like it was just the two of them on a private getaway is better for clicks, retweets and outrage generation.

With that said, you know Josh McDaniels is watching this very closely. In fact, he’s always wanted to take over for BB, so this could be his chance.

And the worst part for Mike is that if Josh does well, Vrabel will never get his job back. See Terrell Williams losing his job after his time away from illness.

My God that's some twisted logic. If someone has been done wrong then they must have pissed someone off.

As for infidelity, I've seen many cases over the years where people were cheating and everyone knew but nobody said anything to them or their spouses. But then there was the case of Edith, the mother of one of our friends who was sitting with us at our local hangout years ago.

One of the married guys was sitting there with another woman sitting on his lap and hanging all over him. All of a sudden Edith couldn't take it any more and snapped, telling John Doe to get home with his wife where he belonged. And to top it off, John Doe's brother-on-law was sitting two seats away.

This affair wasn’t just a one-time thing. Based on their interactions, IMHO these two people seem to genuinely care for each other to some extent.

Maybe the public reveal of the affair threw a wrench into that but I don’t get the impression that Russini is going to try and destroy Vrabel.

He had a six plus year affair. It is obviously not a random lustful affair.

And you have no idea how this will affect him. Some people can compartmentalize their lives. I know of people who can deal with dying spouses (or having a terminal illness themselves) while continuing to work and if you didn't know what they were going through, you wouldn't know they were dealing with adversity.

And how do we know that Vrabel and his wife don't open relationship and he is allowed to date other people? I don't care about his private life, but his wife could have always known about Russini.

We are over two months away from training camp. Odds are good that this will all be over by then.
