Hope the Bruins got the plate number of the truck that just hit them.

That was sad to watch. They didn't belong on the same ice with the Sabres today and they played like they knew and accepted it

The inevitability of 1st round elimination that became evident after the game 1 collapse is now official. There are moments and frustrations we could point to, the slew foot against McAvoy at the series end not being properly officiated for instance, but the simple truth is the Sabres were the better team. They consistently beat the B's to the puck. They paid the price to get to the dirty areas, getting tip chances and created screens defeating the B's better goaltending which was Boston's only real edge going in. And yes Swayman was off in game 4 but no one could fault his play last night and overall he was certainly not the reason they lost the series, the Sabres simply had more talent. The Bruins went about as far as the talent justified.

Oh well, at least Montreal lost last night. Hopefully they lose game 7 too. I hate the bleepin' Habs with a passion that words cannot do justice

During the regular season, my feeling on the team was: The whole is better than the parts.
In the playoffs: Not nearly enough quality parts to succeed.

Tough to see where major improvements will come from to bolster this team forward.
I foresee a Pittsburg Steeler type future===>consistency to be a top 16 playoff bound team but not much more.

On the bright side, we got six Bruins playoff games to enjoy which was six more than I expected.
