Not sure how much to blame is on Cora or the folks who sign the players, not much of a Sox fan any more... but this team had no power....

The Boston Red Sox are a joke. They run it like a second tier franchise, and as such, I will pay it the proper second tier level of attention.

I suspect, when the dust clears, firing Tek will piss off the fan base more than Cora getting the axe. Tek has been with the franchise almost 30 years, a bridge even this arrogant absentee landlord ownership should have known better than to burn

GM's gone at the end of the season too.

But yeah, the Real problem is Ownership. Maybe, just maybe, this embarrassment lights enough of a fire under him to change the current course and aim towards opening the purse-strings and letting go of the failed prospects in favor of productive but more ex-pensive vets...
Or maybe it doesn't.
