Pundit mock drafts 2026 [maybe with FAILs]

Just about the last one from DraftTek.

1.31 OT Blake Miller, Clemson
2.63 WR Chris Brazzell II, Tennessee
3.95 EDGE Keyron Crawford, Auburn
4.125 CB Domani Jackson, Alabama
4.131 DT Tim Keenan III, Alabama
5.171 TE Eli Raridon, Notre Dame
6.191 ILB Jimmy Rolder, Michigan
6.198 RB J'Mari Taylor, Virginia
6.202 WR Aaron Anderson, LSU
6.212 OC Pat Coogan, Indiana
7.247 OG Fernando Carmona Jr., Arkansas
Not bad if 63 were the avilaible Rutledge

2.5 hours to get through the first two rounds.

Miller and Iheanachor went off the board before we picked.

31. TJ Parker
63. Caleb Tiernan

95. Nate Boerkircher

Delp, Roush, Raridon were all gone. I'd have taken Kacmarek who went a few picks later.

Yuck
Who else was available at 63?
63 or 95?

A lot of really good prospects went in the 3rd but the draft started getting fairly ugly by the 4th.

63. I really dislike Tiernen so it’s always interesting to see who was out there that made them go for that.

I don't have the full mock but Burke went 93. You could have had any of the TEs not called Sadiq or Stowers. The three 2nd round guards went in the 2nd.

I get what you're saying, but still . . . Is that the best use for 1.31?
It is if AVT gets hurt again or Owenu decides to not want to play since he doesn't have any GTD money this year.

Chad Graff with a 7-rounder, with extra commentary from Dane Brugler.

1.31 EDGE T.J. Parker, Clemson
2.63 OT Caleb Tiernan, Northwestern
3.95 TE Oscar Delp, Georgia
4.125 LB Jimmy Rolder, Michigan
4.131 DT Albert Regis, Texas A&M
5.171 G Anez Cooper, Miami
6.191 CB Hezekiah Masses, California
6.198 S Jalen Huskey, Maryland
6.202 WR Caleb Douglas, Texas Tech
6.212 RB Seth McGowan, Kentucky
7.247 EDGE Michael Heldman, Central Michigan

I actually really like taking a dart throw at Heldman

Tankathon:

1-Caleb Banks DL

2-Derrick Moore Edge

3-Ted Hurst WR

No way it goes down like this but that's about as good as it gets.
I just cannot get on the Banks at 31 train.

Pat Lane 7 round mock:

Not thrilled about the trade, but one could do worse than DDS and Travis Birke rounds 2-3. Some solid day 3 picks, too.
Not a fan of a punter in the 7th, but overall it's a pretty solid draft.

Adam Rank's "What Teams Should Do" mock has this at 1.31:

EDGE T.J. Parker, Clemson
I am a little concerned by T.J.'s drop in sacks last season (five, after posting 11 in 2024). But this is the kind of thinking that causes him to fall in the draft ... and ultimately end up in the perfect spot. And if you don't draft him here, Patriots, he'll be snatched up by the Seahawks (at my behest) and you're going to be mad at Seattle again.

That said, here's what he said in 2025:

CB/WR Travis Hunter, Colorado
You might have had the worst offensive line in the NFL last season, and I get why you'd want to build that unit up, but passing on talent for positional need can set a franchise back. Hunter is a playmaker on both sides of the ball; put him in an offense with Drake Maye and Stefon Diggs, and now you’ve got something. Don’t reach for the lineman here.

NFLSE - Patriots Dart Board Draft:
31. TJ Parker
63. Caleb Tiernan
95. Nate Boerkircher
125. Tacario Davis
131. Deontae Lawson
171. Cole Wisniewski
191. Pat Coogan
198. Zane Durant
202. Zavion Thomas
212. Cade Klubnik
247. Robert Henry Jr

The highest computer graded picks were (A-) for Wisniewski & Coogan. Everything else was essentially a B for bad, C for ****inspiring uninspiring or a D for dreadful.

The first four picks were ok - I wouldn't be thrilled nor consider them a disaster. Just a note on the Boerkircher pick, Roush, Klare and Delp were gone by this point. Day 3 was a bit of a disaster but they were rushing through it at that stage.
