Drake and guys already at work

Becoming more comfortable taking charge, especially with his veteran teammates, is one of Maye's clear areas for improvement. Vrabel helped him with that last year, I expect that he will take the next step after proving himself on the field last year.

He had an MVP runner up season. But can you imagine if they could just improve the line and protect him and give him more time, and get him some above average weapons ? Doubs is a nice start. If Vera-Tucker can stay healthy (a MASSIVE if), the line should be better. If they can land him some weapons in the draft, would love to land an explosive WR & explosive TE, he will only get better.

IF that happens he would be Great!

Hope everything's by the book. Remember, "everybody does it" isn't the rule for the Patriots, it's the letter of the rule (and then some)

Twin... what can make this offense explosive is K. Williams developing into year 2 jump... so you have K. Williams, Boutte, AJ, doubs

Yep. I’m excited to hear Maye is already working. This is exactly what I had hoped for (so far) this offseason from him. Bodes well for 2026.

Glad Kyle Williams is there surprised no Boutte??
To be fair, he needs to make sure that he doesn't get hurt because he is involved in the handshake deal that doesn't with the Eagles, LOL

I wonder if the fact that he's basically on a 1 year $3.7 mil contract factors into a decision to sit out, as he's one who I'm sure thinks he's worth an extension

Not that it's a huge amount but he might be thinking this is a good time not to get injured if there's any chance of an extension that could save a few mil on the cap - same with another team if there's any potential trade on the horizon.

The only limitation on player-organized workouts is that no NFL coaches are allowed.

Kittley-gate!

I can't wait for some imaginative fan base or coach to claim Kittley was in line for a NE assistant job until this story "surfaced."

Tellin' ya, I don't trust any of em.

I don't think Boutte gets' an extension if A.J.B come aboard: that would be too much $$$$$$ tied up in WR's. Now is the time to get a WR on a Rookie Contract. I really hope Boute plays lights-out in this His Contract Year.

Drake doesn't HAVE to be checkdown charlie, but it would be great if he could be when we need it.

that goal-line series against the Bengals was an abomination. Seven snaps from the 1. Later in the season I remember multiple fans talking about how awful it was that Stafford was getting short-yardage TD passes as if that was a bad thing: that would be like criticizing an NBA player for taking lay-ups.

Protection and weapons are important
so is pocket awareness. Needs to improve on his pocket maneuvering and learn to live another play. Let's avoid negative plays more i know his MO is big plays and for that you need to hold it a bit.more but still

Agreed, he needs to study film of Brady when it comes to pocket awareness with McDaniels teaching him. I’d also like to see him work on getting the ball out faster. That would make him almost unstoppable.

“He’s no good, every time he touches the ball he dunks it!”
