2026 Draft: Cornerback

Its interesting to look at the stuff that Foster has done and his scores for things like Athleticism and then to see a guy like Malik Muhammed throw up some good numbers..

That's the sort of thing I guess that makes you go back to see what the Game tape shows you..
Need to see how the agility numbers look for him..

I asked him about the athleticism scores. They come from official in game recorded speeds.

Alex, I'll take Bible Books for $200. This Bible Book describes the lesser known village of Prysock, Egypt. What is Ephesians?
Genesis or Ephesians? Could also get LUKE Altmeyer as backup QB.

Ceyair Wright highlights.

For those that don't know, I like him as a late day 3 backup NB for this team. Outstanding character and intelligence who covers well and defends the run well. Just a good solid prospect.

If McCoy falls to 31 due to injury concerns, do we take him?

I would say no, unless there's nobody else worth that pick left. But having him sit behind CD before eventually taking over does tempt me

If he is BPA and medicals check-out, then he has to get serious consideration.

I would have taken Will Johnson at 38 last year.

At some stage you've just got to take BPA and provided he actually tests and the medicals check out, he's absolutely BPA comfortably.

Ideally, the goal of the draft is to add foundational players for the long-term.

Depth at outside CB is a need, and Carlton Davis will likely need a successor by 2027. A Gonzalez - McCoy tandem would be devastating, and would improve the team dramatically in the long run.

Great, great post. Long term view - the most important view. I love Mayo's perspective.

It should always be BPA with need a consideration..

If the BPA is a QB at 31, you're not taking him. If the BPA is a RT or LB or Edge or OG or Safety, CB or DT, then you take them.. If the BPA is a WR or RB, you're on the phone trying to trade the pick,
