Of course, I'd rather Bill & Bob got along today, but I still think Bill can and should do and say whatever he wants, and I think he lets his girlfriend do and wear whatever she wants.

I think Matty sporting the Fraudell clown T-shirt was totally appropriate.

Getting back to Bill, I think he has a lot of pent up anger that he just lets get the better of him. For better of worse, we got the best out of him, and it was beautiful.

Bill & Tom went through rough times here. Could Bob have done a much better job having their backs? Yes.

I myself respect the fact that there was a lot of stuff they went through here that they'd like to leave behind in their lives. None of it was the fans' fault, and I don't think either of them harbors any resentment toward the fans.

I’ve never understood why we care about their personal lives or anything outside of their playing and coaching.
Patriots win or lose, whether my perception of the people I never met who win or lose for the patriots is that they are great people or assholes has no effect on enjoying wins and hating losses.
The wins are in the book, they don’t get better if Brady or belichick solve world hunger or turns out the be a scumbag.

They aren’t my family.

I think they're pretty easily found, Ian keeps things well archived here.

I myself simply pointed out Vrabel & McDaniels' enormous Super Bowl experience, and that those two set that as the standard and won't accept anything less.

Someone on Reddit said that the stadium design is **** and the sun blasts down on the home team sideline and starts it's peak around 3 to 4 local time.

If this is true, why do the Niners keep their sideline? Why wouldn't they have chosen for the other sideline? Is there rules um unfamiliar with?

Also, as the home team why wouldn't the pats gave the choice on which sideline to use if there is decidedly a disadvantage like that?

I don’t think I ever predicted SB per se but I did say anything less than 12 wins would be a disappointment.

It's one thing to say this team is going to turn around.

It's a whole other thing to say this team is doing something no team in the history of the NFL has ever done and that's make the Superbowl coming off a 13 loss season.

I never once believed they was going to make the playoffs and once it became clear they was going to be good I still didn't think they would make the Superbowl. That wasn't a reality until November for me.

I feel no shame in admitting that. Literally no team has ever done it. What they have done is aridiculous and amazing accomplishment.

Way too much Buffalo Trace swill for my tastes. I go Elijah Craig Barrel Proof (what batch is it?) or the Willett rye if it’s a single barrel. Old Forester barrel strengths are always fun after they get some air time.
