Well at least we know he wouldn't have voted for Drake Maye.

His argument is ****ing dog ****. Was Drake not the most sacked QB? Certainly close if he wasn't.

Is his argument that his sacks are on him and not the oline? Because if the argument is Herbert did great considering his oline but that Maye did not it doesn't add up.

We might need to drag this guy back over this side of the pond, this Irishman has been drinking too much Jameson.

Working miracles… okay lol

Maye hardly had an A+ OL himself, nor were his receivers as good as Herbert’s. Not understanding the argument.

Oh, Sam Monson would never vote for anyone with the words "New England Patriots" next to their name. It wasn't his vote.

Someone is certainly in their feelings tonight. I wonder if he realizes the “more people voted against Maye than for him” statement also works against Stafford lol. Nobody earned a majority share of the vote.

lol so Stafford didn’t even get half the votes, wow. That’s kind of pathetic
He got 31 votes for first-team All-Pro, BTW.

This means there was a handful of them who voted for him as all pro without giving him their MVP vote.

What a joke.

I realize the NFL is trying to make a declaration that there is a difference but there isn't.

You can't be the best ****ing player in the league and also not all pro. It makes no sense.

That's the compromise they came up with to give Allen last year's MVP.

didnt mind the Herbert vote that much the Allen one is ridiculous

You don't mind that only 1 person thinks Herbert is MVP?

He wasn't. He isn't. I saw you said he carried that team but who cares. Every team has their best player. It's a travesty if a vote.

Doesn’t working miracles mean you wouldn’t be 20th in scoring. His miracles were less than average. They were less than Aaron Rodgers. They were 122 points less than Drake Drake Maye Maye.

The wheels have really come off this week with this stuff. Between the HOF nonsense with Bill and Kraft and now Maye missing by 1 vote while some dumbass votes for Justin freaking Herbert, the league looks like a total clown show.

I guess the only proper way to wrap it up will be for them to have egg on their face one last time with the Pats upsetting the Seahawks that everyone’s already anointed as the champs.

Herbert’s offense scored 122 points less than Mayes.
it scored 113 less than Allen’s.
Allen was far better than Herbert. Herbert didn’t belong in the top 20

I thought there was a good chance that many voters would “split their vote” and go 1 way with AP and the other with MVP, and it seems like that’s the case. The problem is that some of them who did so instead voted for Josh Allen and Justin Herbert, which just doesn’t make much sense. But going from 31 votes to 24 is a pretty big dip.

NFL Sunday Ticket baby
Did you watch the chargers? Did you watch there defense carry them and their QB play mediocre?
Which wins to you consider him carrying them to?

They needed to rank their votes and weight them like MLB. This is ridiculous.

There's too many people with agendas and egos and trying to make it all about them voting for these awards.

They love "storylines" too much, it's not a movie just vote for who deserves it.

Dumb stuff like voting for 3 old guys over Belichick cause they might not be on it much longer rather than just voting for the 3 best candidates in order like anyone with a brain should.

That Herbert vote is comical scraping into the playoff wasn't impressive at all, we've seen QBs do what he did with way worse teams, that Colts team Andrew Luck brought to NE for the AFC Championship had a way worse OL and weapons than what Herbert brought, that team was trash.

I definitely watched Herbert turn into a pumpkin a few weeks back while their defense kept them in the game.
