This is what really stood out to me.
I guess the real question is if he left on a cart with a towel over his head.

If he's not 100% by gametime, that really does change the effectiveness of their entire back 7. When I say the entire secondary revolves around him, it's more than that, he plays linebacker, slot, safety.

Barring a broken bone or ligament tear, he's pretty certain to give it a go. This is the last game of the year for all the marbles.

I remember Gronk gutting it out vs. the Giants on a high ankle sprain. He wasn't his regular self but still played the whole game.
A shot will only last a half, and who knows how effective he'll be if it's anything serious.

Outside of Smith-Njigba, there's no other player on that team Seattle can afford to lose.

Bad Bunny is wearing a dress for the halftime show. IIRC, a wedding dress. I have not heard who the lucky guy is. Hope you got plenty of Bud Light chilling. It's what football fans really like and want.

The reason why people clamor for old rock and roll is because there is not 1 artist today that will be relevant 10 years from now with the exception of Rappers. The rest are flash in the pan hacks and wannabes. Swift appeals to females like Hannah Montana did.
That's not the reason why mostly middle aged men clamor for classic rock for the SB show. They want that because that’s where their comfort zone is, most anything else outside of the genre makes them squirm. This same argument was made when Prince performed and when Bruno Mars performed and when Kendrick Lamar performed and on and on and on. Interestingly enough, none of these “unwanted” artists brought down viewership numbers.

As far as Bad Bunny, he’s been relevant for 10 years already. He was the most streamed artist globally from 2020-2022 and then again in 2025. His audience is huge and odds are his career will be just fine over the next decade plus.

I think you underestimate his global appeal and how he’ll draw viewers and for a league that’s pushing to grow the international audience, he’s exactly what the NFL wants.

But don’t worry, you can tune into the geriatric Kid Rock TP halftime show to listen to his lyrics on underage girls. Seems to be a theme his friends and fans like.

Amazing how ****y Seattle fans are.

Not really. There’s always been an air of douchebaggery about them as far as I can remember. Could be the fact that part of WA has a bit of $$ so they think they’re better, I dono.

In the 2010s, they were the big bandwagon team. A lot of their fans have never lived in Seattle or on the west coast. "Seahawks bandwagon fan" was a meme back in the day.

Don’t know if he’ll be 100% but he’ll at least try to play

Tired of people acting like we don't belong and have no chance against the Seahawks. It's all ********. The seahawks are not all that.
Yup. Seeing your post almost a week later and nothing has changed. Actually the line has moved another point in Seattle's favor.

People often say that the first week of sb coverage is everyone going overboard for the favorite and then the 2nd week is more balanced. Nope.

Seattle had 60 to 1 odds before the season and the pats had 70 to 1 to win the sb. Seattle's actually gotten hurt more on the playoffs and their rookie safety hurt his ankle. DLaw ain't **** compared to what the pats have already faced.

Plus they all trust darnold to deliver

Hes gonna need surgery in the offseason. He'll play early downs. It's the best we can hope for.
Why do you think he'd need surgery?
I've sprained my ankle so many times I am an expert.
Generally, surgery is not needed. Currently dealing with ankle sprain number 6 on my right ankle. 6-12 week recovery, no boot, no cast, just time.
I watched the play he was hurt on and can't see much major happen. They'll wrap it and pain meds, and we'll see if he is limited. Hard to tell but best thing is to just not push it and re injure it before the game.

That photo shoot was after Ditka traded all his draft picks for Ricky Williams. A move today that would land him in a Cookoo's nest.

Shocking at the time, but the majority of the people realized that Williams and Ditka were like oli and water. The marriage was never going to work. Hence the photo.

Shocking also that Ditka would play along and even be in a photo like that. But, Ditka was bragadocious like his 85 Bears team and confident that he would deliver a Lombardi to a team whose fans invented paper shopping bags with eye holes as headwear.

Williams was a bit of a flake and Ditka a man's man. Ditka once challenged 3 Dallas Cowboy players to fight him after practice when Mike was a player coach. Fight Ditka all at the same time. None of the players took Ditka up on his offer.

Today, Ditka would be the poster child for toxic masculinity. Outcast and vilified by the army of snowflakes and pajama boys. Some of the enlisted on this very board. Ditka was Gronk before actual Gronk was conceived. The OG.

Back to the pic. Ditka was a bust in Nola.

Heard is a pretty severe high ankle sprain which means he'll need surgery so not your average sprain.

That guy will not be 100% Sunday. Of course neither will Landry or Spillane, among others.

Likely 75% Seattle and 15% NE.

That is what the last Seattle vs NE Superbowl looked like to me. Seattle fans blew up the ticket market with high demand.
Good I hope it feels like a true road game to them, although Pats fans travel pretty well also.

Landry hasn’t been useful for several weeks now. I really like Spillane heck of a player, but Seattles guy means a heck of a lot of to their defense than Spillane does to NEs D.

There are some funny aspects of Ditka's Saints.

The 1997 team had a top 10 defense and led the league in sacks. They ran the 4-6 scheme, and they racked up big sack numbers that season. On the other side of the field, the offense was pathetic and one of the worst in the league and could probably be historically bad. The defense eventually started giving up points due to the short fields the offense gave teams.

Ditka didn't believe in free agency. His only free agency signing was Heath Schuler who turned out to be an epic bust. These are the years when the Saints had the Billy Joes at QB. They signed Kerry Collins after he was run out of Carolina and he had a few good games, but couldn't stay healthy.

Saints fans were PUMPED over Rickey Williams. The hype was real. He didn't last long here, and Deuce McAllister stole all his thunder and became the big fan favorite.

After Ditka was fired, the Saints went all in on free agency signings and put together a pretty good team in 2000 that won their first franchise playoff game. As badly as Ditka handled their drafts, the flip side was his lack of belief in free agency led to something they could build on in the 2000s.

In today's era of social media, Ditka's Saints would've been a clown show like the Jets are. He was a loudmouth who was always making statements in pressers. His teams did dumb stuff, as mentioned by how putrid the offenses were. There were little things like how he cut Jim Everett, who went on to rub it on him when Everett's Chargers beat the Saints the following year. Then there are the heartbreaker games that are sadly forgotten by most people, where Ditka had his antics.

This is the one that most people still remember, but there were plenty of others. They lost to the 49ers one time with Billy Joe throwing a pick six in the final 2 minutes when it was tied. (Back when they faced SF twice a year and couldn't beat them)

That's bad news for the Seahawks if that injury is a high ankle sprain. We saw the same injury completely nerf Gronk in SB46 and Brady to a lesser extent in that other Giants game that shall not be named.

Pats definitely get a break here like Kam Chancellor's MCL tear in practice before XLIX.
