After being over-optimistic the last two years, I had a good talking to myself about setting proper expectations this year and convinced myself that 8-9 would be a big leap forward! This season is like a dream, and really like this team and Vrabes. Pinch me.
Same. I would have been "OK" with 9-8. Said the same thing in 01 if they went 9-7. Hope, improvement, and likability are keys for me as fan.

01 checked all the boxes and so does this team.

Seahawks fans travel well. Hope there's lots of us there at the same time.
Likely 75% Seattle and 15% NE.

That is what the last Seattle vs NE Superbowl looked like to me. Seattle fans blew up the ticket market with high demand.

Anybody think there's a chance Landry play?

I think he will see some snaps but will probably be rotated in and out. He may be more of a liability at this point.

Yes there is a chance. If he can give them ~20 snaps on 3rd down and have Jennings handle 1st and 2nd that would be fine.

He spoke optimistically about playing but could be a smokescreen

The Seahawks like to run outside and Landry has looked slow and been beat outside. I agree he should be out there on those 3rd and long situations and let Jennings handle 1st and 2nd down as he has really stepped up the last few weeks.

I really don't care either way about Bad Bunny, but can I give a loving chuckle at the way this board asks for dad rock at halftime every single year?

All props to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but Anthony Kiedis is 63 years old. The NFL landed an act coming off a best album Grammy and vying with Taylor Swift for the title of #1 music act in the world. Smart move for a production that's supposed to lure in viewers who are as blah toward football as we are toward reggaeton music.

I'll probably watch the way I watch most halftime shows, at half-attention just in case something memorable happens.
Bad Bunny is wearing a dress for the halftime show. IIRC, a wedding dress. I have not heard who the lucky guy is. Hope you got plenty of Bud Light chilling. It's what football fans really like and want.

The reason why people clamor for old rock and roll is because there is not 1 artist today that will be relevant 10 years from now with the exception of Rappers. The rest are flash in the pan hacks and wannabes. Swift appeals to females like Hannah Montana did.

A Jennings have looked Stout even in pass rushing situations. Somebody lit a fire under him.

Vivid Seats Fan Forecast says 67% Seattle, 33% Patriots
Last year they had 56% Eagles, 44% Chiefs and was decidedly Eagles fans
Of course, 50% of the seats are corporate and others that are just there because it's the Super Bowl so not quite a road game (especially if in Seattle) but more a road game than a home game for sure.

@Patsfan1645 @RobertWeathers what do you all think about Landry's future on this Team?? Could he be a cap casualty/injury settlement??

Maye started 12 games his rookie year. Going into year 2 of his career, that is a tremendous amount of experience to draw from.

Tom had zero starts and very limited game action his rookie year. To some extent BB and Weis protected him.

I also think the offensive talent Maye has this year was better than the 2001 team.
I'm not saying Maye is better than Brady, I'm just saying that Brady didn't play great in several playoff games either. Different time, different offensive philosophies, etc. Whatever Maye does in the Superbowl, plays great or mediocre, we've seen a QB that has a ton of upside for a long time. That's more the parallel I was drawing.

I know you weren't. That's my point as well. Can't really compare the situations.

In 2002 Tom led the NFL in TD passes so those games in 01 plus another offseason to prepare as an NFL starting QB were a huge benefit in his development.

I pray they don't come out conservative and I pray they're not fighting field position all game like they did vs San Diego and Denver. so much of McDaniels (and most playcallers" decisions) are based on field position. The explosive punt return game has was completely neutered vs SD and Denver. Jones had a combined 3 returns for 4 yards. Against Houston He had returns of 19, which set up the first D drive and another return of 24, which set them up at the Houston 45, only needing 15 yards for a makeable FG...and cement head Maye fumbled and first down and that killed the drive as they took a 9 yard loss (Campbell recovered). Better field position opens up the playbook and LET DRAKE COOK

For the sake of Humanity - - don't ruin another Super Bowl experience for the rest of us and stay the hell out of out of the GameDay Thread, you ignorant POS.

Ian's software won't allow capacity extensions on my sig.

Am I the only one who hates this new "Warriors" thing they do?? Vrabel starting his AFCCG trophy interview with a big effeminate holler was the worst decision he's made all year. Which is to say - I've loved almost everything he's done & said until that.
Eww, let's just drop that one quick. Maybe use the offseason to find a new callout.

On that note - I was rewatching the '14 SB highlights on the NFL marathon and couldn't believe that that Seahawks team actually had the "we all we got..." mantra!?! Isn't that weird? I think it's up to us, the fans, to think up something good and start it at training camp.
The team is into it, they are in the Superbowl, seems like a dumb thing to be upset about

I haven't listened to any new rock in 2 decades, probably because there hasn't been any. Moved over to EDM, the festivals are fire, the girls wear thongs and the music is constantly good.

01 was more shocking. it gave us a preview that it could be done. I remember thinking we were going to get smoked by the Greatest Show on Turf. This time I expect the "upset."

I still like the music of my era, but I am totally into the various electronic genres as well. Listening to "Tech House" on DI.FM right now as I type
