That last comment, I mean, it makes total sense when you think about who's on that offense.

Bradbury, Moses, Diggs, Hollins, Henry, all 30+ all been in the league a long time, none of them have even really sniffed a Super Bowl (Hollins has, but it was a long time ago) - and then you've got players like Stevenson and Onwenu who have been HERE a long time, who haven't sniffed a Super Bowl. I can see why appreciating making it to the game can come across as 'happy to be there'.

This is NE's 10th SB appearance in 25 years...unbelievable.
It is Seattle's 4th.

I just do not get the sense that Pats fans are very hyped up about this one.
Possible reasons:

1) SB fatigue
2) Big underdog status
3) Lack of marketable stars on O or D
4) Experts lack of confidence in Pats ability to pull this one off
5) A perception by media that Pats are here on a fluke and that it was gifted to them by easy schedule and Bo Nix's injury
6) No Brady. Brady made fans feel that anything was possible anytime
7) Offense has lacked scoring ability during playoffs

Does anyone else feel a general lack of excitement about this SB appearance?
I hope I am wrong, but it does not feel like any of the Brady era SB's.
The only fatigue I feel is a Lack of Super Bowl fatigue. I'm super hyped. Go Pats!

Was hoping for a little bit more but that’s OK
Hes gonna need surgery in the offseason. He'll play early downs. It's the best we can hope for.

Looks like he has $15m in dead cap if they cut him w/ a post June 1 designation. I think he'll be back next year. Hes a Vrabel guy
I can't remember, was it Andre Carter that was used basically JUST on third downs (or any down over 10 yards) and still had an impactful role? That's probably Landry next year.

IIRC Andre was all downs until he got hurt. Mark Anderson was the guy you are thinking of. He was the designated pass rusher

Bad Bunny is wearing a dress for the halftime show. IIRC, a wedding dress. I have not heard who the lucky guy is. Hope you got plenty of Bud Light chilling. It's what football fans really like and want.

The reason why people clamor for old rock and roll is because there is not 1 artist today that will be relevant 10 years from now with the exception of Rappers. The rest are flash in the pan hacks and wannabes. Swift appeals to females like Hannah Montana did.

Landrys knee must've been messed up half the season when it was bent

I am sure Josh knows this. McDermott did not trick Josh.
Maye had issues reading the split coverage at times but I am sure that he has been practicing against cover 6 looks since the Bills game. He also saw it against the Ravens and then SD, Texans and Broncos. I am very confident that as long as Maye has sufficient time that he will find someone open.

the key to this game, like most games is OL vs front 7

Will this game impact Maye's future contract. Or will it be based on next year?
Its a collective and not based on just a season, but next year will have more impact I think

I agree. That is why we need to continue to use high picks in the 2026 draft for the future improvement in our OL.
I’m a firm believer in having solid trenches. In FA and the draft get a few more OL and a edge rusher and we will be a team that’s hard to beat for the long term

This would be game-changing if he can't go, or is even hobbled. The entire secondary revolves around him.
“Several players and coaches went over to comfort him before he left” doesn’t sound great. Wow.

Barring a broken bone or ligament tear, he's pretty certain to give it a go. This is the last game of the year for all the marbles.

I remember Gronk gutting it out vs. the Giants on a high ankle sprain. He wasn't his regular self but still played the whole game.

This is what really stood out to me.
