Darnold: “L” 50th Roman numeral. “L” = loss
Maye: “X” 10th Roman numeral. “X” = AFC East’s 10th Super Bowl win.

While I’d still like to upgrade at the C position, because Bradbury is up in age; he’s been pretty ****ing phenomenal this season. Especially, given his play/reputation in Minnesota. He’s been our most consistent lineman this season.

-1 sack allowed
-Zero penalties
-4 hits allowed
-23 pressures allowed in both the regular and postseason

Maye created the 2nd-most "own" pressures in the NFL at 215. Maye also held on to the ball for 3.08 seconds per snap in 2025, the 3rd-highest mark of QB's that had at least 375 dropbacks. This may affect Bradbury’s grades.

I’m sure this has been posted (had to be), but just in case…

Ehhhhhhh, was nice, but NOWHERE CLOSE to the Boutte catch video. Camera lost the ball at start of arc ( Stidham has to throw lobs, Drake throws lasers) and catch itself is pretty non-dramatic, more significant maybe in results, but not dramatic.

I think it's time to end the campaign against Campbell at LT. Nic Bonito did SQUAT yesterday, never heard his name except when Will missed the chop block in the 1st quarter. Bonito's been dominating games left and right, and Campbell silenced him.
And that play in my mind isn’t so much a miss by WC as a failure to adjust the protection (Mcdaniels & Drake).

Bonito lined up like 8 yards away from the LT. WC MUST stay in line with the C or get called for not being on LOS. He has almost no way to get to the depth required to cut off that angle, he didn’t so much MISS a chop block so much as desperately try to get ANY PORTION of his body in the way (IMO). I don’t think he was chop blocking actually.

If they want to stop guys doing this to WC and Patriots; McD needs to set up an optional protection call & Drake call it; for the TE or RB/FB to setup on right & cross back to WHAM that Rusher. Do that once or twice & he’ll stop taking that angle. But you need a Gronk-type tough TE to do that. ….. Bueller, Bueller, … we ain’t got that TE on the roster.

That was unnecessary because all they had to do is kneel down to win the game at that point.
Also, it is the magic 8 Ball when Drake slides. He looked incredible on the slide right before the end of the half: smooth, efficient, clean.

Other times he just falls to his knees and gets cracked or hits his head. For all of his amazing athleticism, decision making, accuracy, and skill sets, his inability to regularly slide safely is concerning.

Here’s a question for the ages, and I’m sure some of you know this from what happened the LAST time the Seahawks tried this play:

Are the Seahawks going to run the ball this time around with Kenneth Walker or are they going to use him as decoy, similar to Marshawn Lynch?

Need I to remind yall that we don’t have Brandon Browner, Donta Hightower, Chandler Jones, Malcolm Butler, Devin Mccourty, Rob Ninkovich or Jamie Collins and Bill Belichick’s brain

Anybody else worried about those wild circus l act catches that’s haunted us since the damn Super Bowl 42?! I know we’ve had a few of those in the Brady/Belichick era without ever having been figured out a way to stop them
No, this year I’m expecting Boutte and Diggs to contribute a couple of them. Plus maybe one or more of Hollins, Hooper, Henry, Rham, or Pop. Or some newby.

If he stayed in bounds, the clock would have continued to run..
Didn’t matter. And it was easier and cleaner therefore better for him to just run out of bounds past the stick. Trying to stay inbounds would’ve complicated things for him, and complications are opportunities for mistakes. Better to keep things simple and avoid mistakes.

Not sure I really liked Drake changing hands on the ball, either. It may have been needed to ensure he got the first down but it introduced a risk of mishandling that ball.

Tonga or Milt Williams at FB.

Did you see when they had Milt in on offense against the Broncos? I think both he and Atonga were in together.

Bills fans:

“It’s the refs fault Josh Allen isn’t in the Super Bowl”

“It’s the defense fault Josh Allen isn’t in the Super Bowl”

“It’s the OC or DC fault Josh Allen isn’t in the Super Bowl”

“It’s Sean Mcdermott’s fault Josh Allen isn’t in the Super Bowl”

“It’s our receivers fault for not catching passes for why Josh Allen isn’t in the Super Bowl”

“It’s our GM’s fault for Josh Allen not being in the Super Bowl”

“It’s the Patriots’ cupcake schedules fault for Josh Allen not being in the Super Bowl”

They are the whiniest fanbase. It’s never on Josh Allen
At this point he literally cries when he loses and his coach gets fired

roman numeral gematriya.
It’d be fitting for this NE team to struggle offensively all postseason, just to smoke Seattle in the Super Bowl.
And I virtually expect it... we should hear a lot about how the Pats' offense can't score except against the terrible teams on our soft schedule blah blah blah. Look how we only scored 10 in a blizzard and how the D set that up.

I would love for the Pats to destroy the Seahawks and remove all doubt. Of course, all that matters is W vs. L. But I would love a 52-10 style resolution to this bullshlitz.

good concept, but it will never put a stop to the BS. The haters will employ whatever mental gymnastics necessary to keep it up. Like "so the Cheatriots pounded the Seahawks? So what - anything can happen in a single-elimination tournament. Anyone who knows anything about football knows the Seahawks are clearly the better team. Drake Maye sux and The New England Frauds skated into the Superbowl on the weakest schedule in the League..."

They can say whatever they want once the duck boats are rolling.
