Then Ian has to deal with one whole new thread for each of those wieners asking why they were kicked out of the GDT and yelling at the mods for being too sensitive and no fun. Moderating online communities sucks.
automate it. not a mod decision. and automate the response to those threads, respond with the boilerplate explanation of how negative scoring works to get you consigned to the GDT Purgatory thread, and automagically mute those whiner threads for everybody else.

heck, I'll even offer to code those features for free, just to have them working for the forum users' benefit.

tbh if you just know some people are gonna overreact in it, and just accept it, it's not that bad. its actually kinda funny.
that's how I endure it. plus I enjoy giving them crap for overreacting.

I CANNOT WAIT for all the bulletin board material you just KNOW is coming in the buildup
You didn’t hear? apparently Seahawks - Rams was the Super Bowl

We have no shot apparently

Vrabel was on the money with the decision to shut the passing offense down
I could not agree more.

Don’t get me wrong, as a fan of football it was disappointing that the circumstances dictated this (because offense is fun and we wanted to see our young qb succeed)….but the circumstances were too extreme to overlook.

The defense was playing great.
Offense was going to be difficult in the extreme weather.
The ONE thing the Pats could not do was give the game away with a sack/fumble or something like that…which we saw too often in weeks prior.

So they absolutely made the right decision.

I missed most of the 4th quarter as I had to pick my daughter up from the bus station as she’d just got back from Luxembourg and had to catch a bus from Heathrow to Bristol.

But I liked the play calling. Hold on to the football, don’t turn it over or force it and trust in your defense.

The conditions dictated, especially in the second half, but the Pats were pinned deep a lot and figured it was better to go three and out than turn the ball over trying to force something that wasn’t there.

Not pretty, but it got the job done.

Have to hear an interview w Stiddy in a couple weeks if he felt stressed, but they snapped it right at 0 on play clock, so it would have been natural to be stressed under duress and a leading contributor to the game ending pick.

NEM wasn’t as despicable, IMO. He was super annoying, but not an evil idiot.
True, but I just couldn’t resist that Meme-tag line when he said “worst EVER”. I & you guys have seen a lot in 25 years on this board.

Fans of 3 teams must be feeling pretty crappy today
* Miss Amy in Tennessee for firing Vrabel ( and trading D Henry and AJ Brown)
*Minnesota for deciding Mccarthy was the answer at QB despite Darnold winning 14 games last year.
*JETES for being the JJJJJetes and watching Darnold take a team to the Super Bowl, something they haven;t seen since LBJ was President.
And fans of the other teams because, " oh crap, they're back"

Are we the home team in the Super Bowl?
Yeah. I read in another story that AFC is.

Only good thing we get uniform choice. Coin toss choice done us **** all year.
