We will make sure the turnover machine decides who we hire as HC…

Reminds me of when Chargers fired Marty Schottenheimer after a 14-2 season because he didn't win in the playoffs. Next coach went 11-5, 8-8.. notice a trend? They are in for a rude awakening....

LOL! They blamed a member of the coaching staff for drafting Coleman, but the Bills' draft documentary shows Beane being in absolute love with Coleman and wouldn't trade away the pick unless someone offered something really big.

This is a terrible look for the organization.

Things are not looking so hot in Buffalo Land lately. After firing Sean McDermott and for some unknown reason, promoting GM Brandon Beane who has not been very good, Bills owner Terry Pegula has a bizarre press conference in which he pointed the finger at everyone else, including players still on his roster.

Here is a video by Rich Eisen breaking it down (I previously had linked a different video, but this one from Eisen is better):

EDIT 01/22: Here is another video from Youtuber and Bills fan Jef which really rips into the organization as only a true fan could. Thank you @NovaScotiaPatsFan for sharing. Pure gold:

It's comedy gold. The Bills are having a meltdown because they LOST in the playoffs yet again.

They thought they were going to walk over the AFC East division and got a rude awakening.

They thought they were going to go into Denver and obliterate them on the talent of Josh Allen.

Again dreams smashed.

Couldn't happen to a nicer fanbase than the so called Bills Mafia.

They can't get the 4 Superbowls lost in a row monkey off their back. Now they can't even get into the Superbowl.

I feel like the coach was a scapegoat. There's something just not working about the way they build their team around Josh Allen. I doubt it will get fixed by just firing the head coach.

If Patriots brass ever had a press conference like that I would be so embarrassed that I would want the Boston media eating them alive nonstop until someone got fired.

Kraft's star has fallen a lot over the years but he'd never be fragile enough to do what Pagula just did. He knows that accountability always ends with him.

I'm guessing Bills Mafia won't be renting another billboard sign on Rt 1 this year? That was the silliest thing I've seen a fanbase do, troll a team with 6 SBs while your own trophy case is empty.

They needed to put their fans up on that billboard near Gillette Stadium because it’s the closest they’ll ever be to a Lombardi trophy.

They are interviewing Philip Rivers for the HC job.

He is the Ralph Krueger of the search process.

Pegula always thinks he can outsmart people.

He did it with Krueger, hiring a soccer coach for a hockey team, and now he's thinking of a high school coach former player.

Lmao. Maybe someone should have Pegula check Rivers' record vs the Patriots in the postseason... or even just the regular season.

Regular season: 1-5 (with the only win being in the Matt Cassel year)
Postseason: 0-3

Right. Aaron Rodgers has 1 single ring. Peyton Manning had 2, and one of those was far more on the back of his defense than anything he did.

List of QBs with rings and how many they have in the last 25 years:
Tom Brady - 7
Patrick Mahomes - 3
Peyton Manning - 2
Eli Manning - 2
Ben Roethlisberger - 2
Jalen Hurts - 1
Matthew Stafford - 1
Nick Foles - 1
Russell Wilson - 1
Joe Flacco - 1
Drew Brees - 1
Aaron Rodgers - 1
Brad Johnson - 1
Trent Dilfer - 1
The year Gb won it was also ‘more about D’

Keon Coleman hasn't been good or worth his draft status, but why is he being made into this huge scapegoat here? People act like he sunk the franchise lol
Pats should trade the pick they got for Ja’Lynn Polk to Buffalo for Coleman.

Pats were reportedly interested in Coleman in the draft.

Of course outside of Maye, look at who else they were interested in.

On top of his other flaws, Coleman just ain't very interested in playing the game.

He's got Aiyuk vibes written all over him, potential to go AB in the future.

Let's let our front office use that pick on someone who wants to play.

If you take time to go over all aspects of this presser, it keep getting worse. I will start.
1. Completely thrashing a current player on your team.
2. Giving the impression that the GM really had no authority and did what the coaches want.
3. Giving the impression that Josh Allen’s reaction was the impetus for him firing the coach
4. Saying that it was a catch but then blaming the coach for the outcome even though it was a catch. Should that not mean it is not the coaches fault but the refs screwed him?
What else I am missing?

If they were "screwed" on the catch (they weren't), it means Denver won when the Bills should have already been in the locker room celebrating a game winning kick. At the same time, the loss apparently means they hit a "wall." Well...since they were "screwed", why is McDermott getting the blame? Seems like a contradiction.

He says the faces of the players was enough to make change. Who cares. Allen was a huge reason they lost. Plenty of players cry after losing. You can't make a decision like that based on how athletes react to losing.

McDermott was the one who pushed for Coleman. Beane did him a solid and picked who McDermott wanted. Really? There is video evidence proving otherwise.

I don't see a problem firing McDermott. I think should have been fired after that 13 second game in KC. However, keeping and promoting the guy who put most of that thrash on the field seems....dumb. It's also time he stops getting praised for drafting Allen. It was a heck of a pick. But it was that...one pick. 8 years ago. What has he done to surround him with game changers? Sans Cook, there are none.

Um.....wtf???? Hahahaha
If anyone still had any sliver of doubt that the Bills were an inept franchise, this sealed the deal

Pegula: "McDermott sucks, I fired him. Brandon Beane and Josh Allen are going to choose the next coach"

Media: "Wow who are you guys gonna interview?"

Beane/Allen: "Phillip Rivers!!!!"
