I've been confident the Pats would likely get to the Super Bowl once I saw the path in the playoffs.
I'm not sure on the Super Bowl but think they'd be competitive versus either.
I think they could move the ball on Rams defense, Panthers did, Bears did in spurts except when Williams lost accuracy they didn't.
Seahawks defense is a concern for Patriots if they play them, but if you pressure Darnold he'll throw you multiple picks.
I also think playing in nice weather Drake will be elite Drake.
Seahawks have the looks of the best team in football, Rams been more inconsistent. Both very good teams. Patriots Bills, Seahawks and Rams were really the top 2 teams in each conference.
If Broncos slip in then I see a complete Super Bowl blowout, but Pats would be more competitive.
I think I have previously posted (not certain), but back in November I placed a wager of Patriots and Seahawks in Superbowl, at odds of 35 to 1. Fingers crossed.

Can’t take this team lightly. Vrabel will stress that all week. They are 15-3, have a very good defense and some solid offensive weapons and a good Oline. Having McDaniels on our side will help, since he knows Stidham REALLY well. The defense needs to be creative to fool Stidham, just show him things he hasn’t seen.

Maye needs to stop turning the ball over at an alarming pace. He got lucky his defense held up despite the turnovers. We ALL know he can do better. He was the only QB to throw 3 TD passes against the Texans all year. If he had cut his mistakes to 1 INT (Hail Mary) and 1 lost fumble, Pats would’ve won by more than 12. It needs to stop, and they need someone to help Campbell on the left side to eliminate some of those strip sacks.

Maye has this weird phenomenon where he has a good half, and not so good other half of the game. Seems to happen EVERY game. Both playoff games, his stats were better in the 2nd half. Yet he threw 3 TD passes in the 1st half. Maybe he finally figures out the defense in the 2nd half. Yet I’ve seen him have great 1st halves, and meh 2nd halves. It’s weird. Would love to see him dominate for a full 60 minutes. If he does Sunday, they will win the AFCCG.
Great points… I’m wondering if Campbell is still injured at this point in time if not, they have to seriously reevaluate him after this year …. Maybe the position they have them and just isn’t going to work for his level. In fairness, he’s had to face some of the toughest DL in the league, and he’s obviously just not at that level

Up early this morning so bouncing between sportscenter, NFL network, and local news to see what this winter storm is going to do. I’m already sick of the Sean Payton and Jared “Stiddy” ball washing. Give me a break.
Networks trying real hard to pump up Stidham.
Nix= game manager, overrated
Stidham= has not thrown an NFL game pass in 2 YEARS. Game speed is not practice speed
Payton= overrated, always has been
Broncos= overrated

Patriots blow the doors off these place Sunday.

Also, hopefully we have power down here so I can watch the game, lol.
It's their job to sell the game. Plus it gives motivation to the team that wants to be motivated.

An article came out today about the altitude and concerned by a local professor that the patriots are not going out to Denver until the day before… Seems to have some good points there but then again I’m sure most teams that aren’t in that area and have to fly in are not flying in several days in advance… Hopefully it doesn’t affect our guys
Most Professors that impart wisdom to the media are full of **** IMHO, I swear.

We desperately need better production on first down. Entire first half we were 2nd and 3rd and long. Offense was way too predictable on first down, mix in a throw here and there keep the D guessing. Henderson gets stuffed for nothing WAY too often for my liking and we seem to avoid him in the passing game which is confusing cause in space hes extremely dangerous. If Maye can avoid the fumbles I like our chances, but his lack of awareness is extremely concerning. Denver offense didnt exactly scare me with Nix, let alone Stiddy. Gonzo on Sutton and watch out for harvey/Dobbins in the short underneath game. They dont run the ball well and our defense is exceptional against it. Im not particularly scared of franklin, engram, bryant. If we just get an average Drake Maye game we win
Well said

Newton should know something about easy schedules

2015 Panthers SOS -3.88
2025 Patriots SOS -4.49

and just for fun, here’s two teams that are routinely talked about when the discussion for greatest teams of all-time comes up

1972 Dolphins SOS -4.27
1999 Rams SOS -5.88 (holy ****!)

Felger said that is what a Denver meteorologist indicated. Clearly wrong

I wonder what the point spread would be if this game was being played in New England. 7 points?

Looks like the weather keeps changing.
Now forecast is partly cloudy and in the 20s

Did he just guarantee victory? At least his press conferences are entertaining. Unlike most HC's.
Payton went "get the champagne ready" Rex Ryan.

We know how that worked out.
