This has a Jacksonville at NE 2017 AFCCG feel again. Pats will have to match their defense intensity if Houston stall's NE offense. You don't want to get behind with the Texans defense.

Last week was the 3rd such bad game Stroud has had like that in 3rd years. So, NO right-thinking person is going to expect the same this week from Stroud. I just don't want to see a great game by him. Give him his usual game and I think we win.
Doubt he fumbles 5 times again, maybe 6 or 7 this week.

Does that mean we'll get another amazing game closing highlight, this time from Gonzo?

One of my favorite post-season game endings of all time.

Gotta love AI. Can’t even align the pieces with the board.

And I loved the smoke filled room with two partly burned doobies lying on the board in front of white’s rook.

Are the machines intentionally dumbing down humanity, or is it just an unintended side effect?

The image is just a bit of silly fun, not something that beckons exacting scrutiny.

Tough crowd here.

I’m wondering if McDaniels might try lining up in 21F with Munford at TE and Tonga as the FB. I think it would be interesting to see either Rham or Hendo run the rock or go out for a pass from that formation. Or keep them in for max protection on a deep bomb?

I’m expecting Josh will go deep into his bag, and it’ll be fun to watch whatever he comes up with.

What would be great is for him and Zak to both open things up successfully all day…

BTW - looking at the stats a bit (yes, can be misleading but I don't believe so in this case)

Chargers and Texans were basically identical on pass defense all year. Both ~4.5 ANY/A, ~75 pass rating allowed, mid-40s sacks, 8% sack rate. Similar ranking (good but not top of league) on rush defense. Chargers got their thru more disguise, Texans get their more through talent and execution.

Again - if we can score 20 pts (we should've scored 23 against Chargers) I think we can win this game.

Of course they were intentional.

His ego would not permit him any unintentional drops, especially ones that might’ve helped win the game and get him another playoff check.

Where did you get that copium? Is it high grade stuff? Reliable connection? If so please send contact deets to @denverpatsfan and @GreenCow
You're beginning to piss Me off.

That game was one of the most impressive comebacks in Pats' history, it's unfortunate that the Eagles loss two weeks later made this win kind of forgotten.

Brady injured his hand a couple of days prior to the game, Edelman was already out for the season, and Gronk got KO'ed before the end of the first half, so the Pats were without their two biggest weapons, against arguably the best defense of that season, down 10 late in the fourth. Amendola's play in that game was the stuff of legends, and to top it all off, Gilmore flying on fourth down to clinch the win.

My heart would not appreciate going through the stress of that particular game again but hell, if it guarantees a win, sign me in.

I'd love to see a 2TE/ 3RB set where Tonga is the FB, Munford the Jumbo TE, with Both Rham and Henderson on the field and it's Drake calling the audible at the line as to who the ball is going to.. I could see MULTPLE Chunk plays coming out of that alignment. Including Play Action to Henry or PA with Stevenson and the line plunging left only to have Maye toss it to the right to Henderson who sprints down the field..

Or, hell, a toss to Munford after he chips... LOL.. Lots of fun with that alignment to be had.

Tonga looking promising for sunday

Gonzo appears to have shed the non contact jersey.

It looks like the healthiest weve ever been. Really just Hollins missing

That was a good analysis.

But…. TRIGGER WARNING: he praises Onwenu for his blocking.
TBF without that Owenu block probably looking at a Safety

Agreed -- I don't expect Stroud to fumble 5 times again, just as I don't expect Maye to fumble twice again. Let's say 2 fewer fumbles from each QB?

Lots of folks were grumbling about the "overweight" Onwenu earlier in the season. But he's been really reliable - you simply don't hear his name during pass pro, which is what you want. In that play he miraculously blocked two rushers sequentially. And Bradbury, with a reputation as a center who couldn't block against power, has been similarly consistent.

I know we got some guys on cheap that are playing at a very high levels. Bradbury - Tonga - Chaisson even Durden: to name a few.
