Diggs was getting doubled the whole game. The Chargers were daring us to beat them without Diggs and we did. Unfortunately, this is where missing Hollins hurts.

So they will be missing a huge piece of their offense. Makes things much easier for our defensive planning. I think the Texans will struggle offensively.

Dan might be right that Stroud may, eventually, start playing well and not making mistakes.. But that's not something that happens overnight. Based on Stroud's play, I'm going to guess that it will happen in 6-7 years..

Last week was the 3rd such bad game Stroud has had like that in 3rd years. So, NO right-thinking person is going to expect the same this week from Stroud. I just don't want to see a great game by him. Give him his usual game and I think we win.

Last week was the 3rd such bad game Stroud has had like that in 3rd years. So, NO right-thinking person is going to expect the same this week from Stroud. I just don't want to see a great game by him. Give him his usual game and I think we win.

If Collins is out hes screwed. He was out again today.

Stroud averaged 217 yards per game with Collins averaging 75 yards out of those 217.

It's a huge loss for them, there's no question about it, no only in a vacuum, but instead of spending big resources on him, it has a big cascading effect, your CB1 is now following WR2, CB2 can take TE1 with safety help, etc..

I think the crucial thing is to limit turnovers to a minimum. It would be better to take a sack, punt, and trust the defense with the Texans mediocre offense rather than try to force things. If we win the turnover battle, we will win the game.

They still have some talent at WR without Collins - Higgins has been good, Noel is okay (while both rookies).
Kirk is still a capable vet and was huge @PIT, but none of these guys are stars and aren't as potent without Collins.
However - Shultz is a legit receiving TE.

Not to mention a truly outstanding drop when a pass hit his hands at a key moment in the closing minutes of the Eagles’ failed comeback attempt.

GenAI is a blight on our society. Low effort, low quality rubbish. And there are too many grifters trying to make a profit from it, whether it's stealing other's people's work and trying to get paid for it, or companies going with GenAI to pay fewer humans.
