Does anyone that has access to the all 22 have the details about the defense they played last night because I saw a blurb from Orlovsky that he said he did not recognize the defense upwards 80% of the time. So I assume it was some kind of amoeba/hybrid defense but what was so confusing?
I saw the Reddit post and the OP refuses to share any proof of the claim. Says he “saw it on Facebook” and it “totally happened” but won’t share any link or screenshot of the supposed post. In today’s era where everything is recorded and posted online, not one single video has emerged. When called out on it, the OP talked more **** about Pats fans. So most likely, a made up story for the sake of ragebaiting.
He needs to get to the point where he sees the field like an all-22 video he can stop and rewind, like we can.I'm going to be honest. Hollins would not have made a difference last night. There were two issues, mainly. Campbell, Wilson, and Bradbury not being able to handle the pass rush and Drake not taken what was given to him. One several of the throw-aways and at least 1 of the sacks, Drake missed that receivers were open or ignored them like he did on 2 plays with Stevenson.
Drake needs to be told not to be greedy. Taking the small stuff will eventually open up the bigger stuff. Hit Rham for a 2-3 yard gain. Then when they shift to stop it, it opens up things for others.
Drake missed that Henry was open on Seam routes a few times. He finally connected with one later in the game and that helped set up the route that Henry scored on.
That was me, just confusing Spillane and Chassion. Sorry to have muddied the waters.Yes. Kuhr was calling the plays. People have already noted that Spillane was quoted as telling one of the pundits that the Chargers O-line told them they had no idea what the Pats coverages were the entire game. Someone mentioned that Chaisson may have also been told that.
Well acquainted with the base - it was my first assignment after getting off active duty. Loved it there. The former base golf course was sold to the town for $1 and is still one of the best courses in western MA.Appreciate the humor. As a native of Chicopee, I would add a bit of (real) history. The base was named for Major General Oscar Westover who was commanding officer of the Army Air Corps in the 1930s and who tragically died in an air crash. Starting in the 1950s, Westover was a SAC base and headquarters of the Eighth Air Force with its nuclear equipped B-52s. In 1974, it was transferred to the Air Force Reserve and today is the largest Air Force Reserve base in the United States.
I played a bit at the golf course whenever I came back to visit my folks. My dad played it regularly with his friends. It is a very nice, and quite difficult, course. And what you say about Tricky was what most people assumed to be true. He also closed the Springfield Armory which was established by George Washington. But, then again, Massachusetts voted for Washington.Well acquainted with the base - it was my first assignment after getting off active duty. Loved it there. And why the base was remanded to the Reserves? The rumor is it was political revenge by Tricky **** Nixon for MA not supporting him for President. Offered it up as part of a realignment action. 8th AF was one of the premier command's in the AF (Gen Lemay's command - I know where his desk is at the base by the way) so it was a political tool.
Not sure how much this will help, but when I went looking for anything more from Orlovsky about that I found this clip.Does anyone that has access to the all 22 have the details about the defense they played last night because I saw a blurb from Orlovsky that he said he did not recognize the defense upwards 80% of the time. It’s a good watch, gets very good at the 3:15 mark when Marcus Spears makes a great observation about the value of Vrabel having played exactly what he’s coaching now that they’re in the playoffs. That quickly segues into Orlovsky talking about being unable to identify what the Pats defense is playing. At one point he says it seems they may be playing zone on half the field and man on the other half. Definitely expands on his earlier comments, but nothing as specific as I’d like. I’m hoping he will post a QB school breakdown of what the Pats D showed the Chargers QB sometime this week. It would be great to get that kind of insight from anybody that can provide it.
Also interesting that some of the Chargers told Spillane the same thing on the field after the game. So Orlovsky was seeing the same things the players on the field were seeing.
It's rare when an obvious overpay plays up to his contract.“Fourth down. Go win the game.”
Assignment given.
Task accomplished.
Milt earned his pay.

It's almost like he isn't over paid. It's rare when an obvious overpay plays up to his contract.
I've said it all year. Milton Williams. Worth. Every. Penny.
