Feel like chism is the guy pop is relegated to a reserve gadget role player now.
I have said it since the summer. I have no idea what everyone sees in Chisom.

Diggs is 4 years older
this is most likely Diggs last contract
Diggs is coming off injury, and was looking for a contract
signing Diggs did not involve any compensation to another team

Brown will want 1 more contract after this one, and will want to remain in that top echelon. he needs the production to receive that contract.
look, the team has what, 1 more year for Hollins? 1 more year for Diggs? will they opt to keep Pop? Boutte? Will Williams develop? having Brown over the next 2-4 years is not a bad option. will he fit/thrive in McD's scheme?
Absolutely positively agree. Sensible. Brown is what 28? I entrust Vrabel's decisions should he move on AJ.. it's very realistic.. I'm thinking a 4th could do it??

Last year, yes. But not anymore.
He has the potential to really bloat a budget AND destroy a locker room - I think he has a huge part in the imploading of the Eagles.
I don't care how stupid Siriani is - you can't have a player be so disrespectful and arrogant.

IF our Vet WR's wasn't so long in the tooth I would pass. But we would be crazy if we had a shot at A.J. Brown and pass. Maye's peers are pretty stacked at WR: some have Two very good ones. We need to follow suit: Maye needs to have that guy.

He probably knows the Playbook better than Pop Douglas. E Chism seems like he's getting comfortable: he has catch in the Playoffs. I would be shocked if he didn't see more snaps than Pop next game.

Even a post June 1st trade they take on 16m in dead money in 2026 and 27m in 2027.

Although the pre-post June 1st discussion is valid since it could hurt the Eagles ability to get better in 2026, the dead money is a sunk cost. Roseman historically thinks of the money that way and wouldn't be afraid of moving on because of the dead money. He may just have to wait until after June 1st to move Brown.

I think he could be gotten for less than that.. I think a 4th round pick would suffice and Vrabel could throw in some 6th and 7ths... it just makes so much sense to get him and add him to the strong wr room we have now.. it's pretty much inconceivable he is traded.
Given what Tyreek Hill went for at the same age (Tyreek will be 32 coming off an ACL next year) you might be surprised.

1st, 2nd, multiple 4ths

we will see which one plays and contributes more in the next three games as we close out the season

We have four veteran WRs: Diggs, Hollins, Boutte, and Douglas. Only two of them are long in the tooth and both of them look to have enough tread left on the tires to be good for another couple of years. By the time they’re gone our rookies will be veterans. It’s not a significant issue.

And we have three very good ones now, or did until Hollins’ injury sidelined one of them. By next year there’s a good chance Williams will be ready to break into that group.

I’m interested, but not psyched. Peak Brown would be a perfect fit for a deep ball artist like Maye. He and Hurts were always a bad pairing.

Just a thought, how would Diggs look as an asset? He’s been great and I’m a big fan of the player, but he is in a slow decline and has plenty of baggage, but would give Philly at least a proven vet to offset the production. The cap offset would give us more flexibility.

My preferred route would be to make a big play at Wandale Robinson.

Drafting a WR is a better value than signing one in FA or trading for one. Drafting means you get four years, maybe even five, at the lowest cost possible. Anything else costs you more.
Tell that to Vrabes. He signed Diggs and Hollins.

Newsflash None those WR's you listed are better than A.J. Brown. Also I think Pop Douglas gets Traded this Off-season: not ruling out Drafting a WR again either. We a Need Big Boundary WR like Hollins: a WR with height is an advantage in certain situations ie... a High pass - Jump ball and EZ fade.

Yess I believe a Team should always roll the dice in Drafting a WR. You can get a Gem like Puka Nacua but the position Bust a lot: it's not an exact science and a Team needs a lot of luck. KW looks like he'll be a hit: a far cry from those BB Second and aThird Round Busts. Our WR's are too small we need a Tall Boundary Receiver 6'2 and up.

I dunno, those guys can drop passes in playoff games just as well as AJ Brown.
And none of them are making close to what he's making.

A.J. already have SB Ring he's worth it.
