This is ridiculous. Kickers deliberately line up to kick the ball over the center support of the goal post (factoring in any tendency to hook or slice). They then put their head down to focus on the ball through the kick. When are they supposed to be so deceived by this kind of reverse parallax effect that it provides a meaningful advantage. I'm sure kickers are far more interested in temperature and wind effects than scoreboard deception.
