What do you know, the game is at 3:00 PM like I said it would be, with the game containing the West Coast team on at 6:30 PM, even though there was a whole argument about how I didn't know what I was talking about... Weird!
talk your **** king

honestly thought we wouldnt get a night game cause we already had one. but then the Bears got a night game so who knows

One thing for sure is the Conference Champ games alternate times every year. This year we have the early slot I'm pretty sure

Gonna have to disagree abt that "wide open" thing tho... He was blanketed.
He had his guy by a couple yards, guy was trailing him and the space was completely clear. Gronk threw his arm up that he was free.

real challenge this week will be chubb and co. this running game is going to be more a factor than in the chargers game.
Yes, stop the run. And if Nico Collins is out, you can devote extra resources to stopping it.

Didn't know where to post this. So I will post here.

I don't worry about either RB on that team other than in the receiving game, honestly. Chubb isn't the same runner that he was in his early years in Cleveland. Yes, Marks has speed, but he's not Henderson that can break it for 50+.

Yes, Houston is likely to try more runs than the Chargers, but Houston has more healthy Running backs and a slightly better line. I don't think it will be an issue for the Pats with Williams/Spillane back on the field.

You won't have to devote extra resources to stopping Houston's run game. It's just mediocre and the Pats normal defense should be able to handle it even if Tonga isn't back.

I typed out a reply that I expect a 3pm and 6:30pm pairing like the NFL has done in the past many, many, many times but then I remembered I was talking to a door -- errr um yeah you catch my drift.

Ok, you're right. I'm wrong

BTW, Since you missed it, Mike Jackson is the same age as Davis.. If you want to improve at CB, why not look for someone younger? Maybe someone like Eric Stokes who didn't have a lot of help. Or Tariq Woolen, who seems to be on the outs with the Seahawks.

Chubb hasn’t been starting over Woody Marks. Marks looked good against the Steelers but he’s been pretty pedestrian this year.

No surprise there’s a lot of Patriots DNA on the Texans and that includes their front office and coaching staff:
Nick Caserio, James Liipfert, D.J. Debick, Steve Cargile, Nick Caley, Cole Popovich, Jerry Schuplinski, Cory Undlin, Frank Ross
I forgot they brought in Shane Vereen too. I didn't include Ben McDaniels (Josh's brother) because he never worked for the Pats but there's a connection there. Another New England connection is Andrew Brown, he's a Malden kid who studied at Suffolk and Boston College and worked for Tufts.

???
We had 5 WR's active on Sunday. We also have Henry, Hooper, Stevenson and Henderson.

Our issue is NOT lack of receiving targets.

We have 3 issues that will determine the game.
1) the play of the left side of the OL
2) Josh's ability to scheme against the top Defense in the NFL
3) Maye's ability to execute, especially late in the game
All of those are important but none of them are the single most important. And nobody's talking about it, which blows my mind:
No, the single biggest issue is not how the Pats fare v. Houston's D....it's about how in the wide world of sports is Houston's offense gonna score more than 3 points vs. OUR ferocious and now healthy defense?
I'm not worried about this game. It will be tough and grinding similar to the Chargers game.

He thought he was coming here to face a Rebuild.. now he's on a team that will be looking in the draft for a QB..
I wish him luck Pittsburgh have been looking since Big Ben Retired.

And what do you know... the late game on Saturday... is the game with two West Coast teams. Wow!!!!!! Almost like there's a trend.....

I expect Maye to come out with the jitters due to what's at stake and concerns about the big scary defense. He may rush things early on so I hope Josh has scripted an opening drive realizing this. I think once he settles into the flow of the game he will start doing damage. I just dont expect it early on, I hope I am wrong.
As long as the mistakes are not on our side of the Football field. We don't want to give anybody the short field: don't shoot ourselves in the foot.

I been looking through their stats for the year. Collins is their only real threat and there is a good chance he wont be playing.

They’re undefeated?!?!?!

Or they played some other defense?
I should have said after their last loss: you guys take everything literally.
