CJ Stroud passer rating, completion percentage and W-L record drops drastically outdoors

It's going to be very mild in Foxboro on Sunday, low wind, 3 pm start, 40 degree temps.

Personally I think Drake will like this more than 20 degrees.

Agree 100%. A very astute comment. Even old man Rodgers, who clearly no longer has his legs, was highly effective rolling out a few times.

The Texans adjusted and had a guy looking for rollouts after Rodgers threw his biggest pass plays this way.

But Maye's legs are a bigger problem than Rodgers's if the Texans start looking for rollouts.

I was thinking the same thing about Maye rolling out this morning.
Texans have 0 weaknesses in thier defense.. thier LBs are excellent in coverage.. I'm sure Drake can still beat them running but then the LBs close in so fast then he's hit and the balls popped out... is my biggest worry..

Jeez, now we got 21f and 21h. I need a new playbook.

From that article:
11 personnel = one running back, one tight end; 12 personnel = one running back, two tight ends; 13 personnel = one back, three tight ends; 21 personnel = two backs, one tight end; 21H = two halfbacks, one tight end; jumbo personnel = two backs, two tight ends, six offensive linemen.

I assume 21F is a halfback, a fullback and one tight end.

Stafford running makes Brady look like Usain Bolt.

I remember Brady and Moving Pockets against similar Defenses. We know Brady was Brady and he wasn't going to run. But Drake Maye is a different Monster Tom Brady's passing accuracy with wheels. Drake Maye keeps DC's up at night: he's not a one dimensional QB. Gosh I hope I have fingernails after the game: this should be a chess match.

You can exploit their zone.

Rodgers had those plays last night.

My biggest concern is not whether Drake can exploit those zones, I think he can.

My concern is our WRs. I'd be a lot more confident with Mac Hollins in this game.

Boutte, Diggs, Henry and Hooper have to come up big.

Let's try a crosser with Kyle Williams.

just keep some hope for chism.. i keep thinking he is going to have a monster game this sunday. we need him to come up big to win as our zone wide receivers are too limited and just keep pop on shelf unless someone is injured. will miss mac hollins a lot in this game.

stater1: I want WR Efton Chism playing: we can't waste Downs with Pop Douglas. Every down is going to matter in this one no downs off. We have to keep them on their heels and make the most of our opportunities. I really miss my Binkie Barefoot too.

The Steelers don’t have drake Maye. They did have a lot of open receivers out there though. We won’t score points if we try to play long drive football. It’s not who we are.
Mike Martz vs the 2001 Pats was stubborn and refused to adapt to what the Pats were doing on defense. Why? Because that was not what the Rams were.

Last Sunday, Maye vs Man was 1 for 7. He took a lot of punishment sacked 5 times, fumbling twice and an INT. His completion rate was 58%. That is not what were looking for. Houston can and will play Man coverage, so Maye will need to wait for the receiver to get free. The OL will need to block longer as well. Recipes for disaster.

Maye passing with 2.5 seconds or - = 78% comp rate.
Maye passing with 2,5 seconds or += 65% comp rate.

The Pats can absolutely throw deep in this game after the main course of long time consuming drives that utilize NEs run game and short quick pass game. Keep the Houston defense on the field as long as possible.

The receivers playing in his place are better receivers than Hollins.

Do they play primarily zone or man? I just know thier rush is ferocious.. Rodgers retired in the 4th quarter last nite.. he pretty much quit on his team.. that was anyone's game up until Rodgers decided to retire in game.

Yes Hollins is missed! But as you perfectly stated Williams on crosses, Diggs, Boutte will absolutely have to be huge.. I'll take Henry on any one of thier safeties... also Drake CAN'T have any TOs this game.. if he does this game could be over fast..

ROFL the Colts and that suckbag QB dropped 30 plus on the 0 weakness defense. Man some people are nuts. There were many, many times last night that Pitt had guys wide the tf open and Rodgers missed or they dropped the passes. Wide open.

This isn't the 85 Bears.

Boutte did last game: Diggs have been kinda hit or miss. We need a WR to be a Factor that helps our RB's and TE's: Our WR's can't disappear for long stretches or we'll play right into their hands. IF Boutte gets over 60yds again we are in good shape.

The rams had 427 yards of offense in that game.

Maye was 6/15/95 in the first half playing conservatively and 11/14/173 in the second half when they let him play.

If you try to play for long time consuming drives you will be punting a lot.

Viper fair points... very fair. Maybe it's just I'm so enamored with seeing them last night that it's giving me the impression that they have 0 weaknesses... thanks for bringing this up

Pop Douglas has been pedestrian at least Barefoot Mack Hollins can climb the Ladder. I would be a lot more confident if we was available: Maye finds him.

Would be nice if A Hooper had a game: we know what H Henry can do. Maye missed A Hooper high on a sure TD last game: we need to scheme him open like that again. We have more weapons than Pittsburg.
