Game Day Thread OFFICIAL 2025 Wildcard Weekend Game Thread: LAC @ NE

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

An opportunity for three points goes by the wayside

Maye has to know when you are up by 13 points halfway through the fourth when the other team has only scored 3 points thus far, you take the sack and trust your defense.

When i see Maye it makes me appreciate how Brady had a second sense to pressure and knew when to take the sack

Maye’s fumbling is a real issue. You are up 16-3 just eat it. We got lucky.
He needs to work on that.

Thus far, he has mostly improved on each weakness week by week.

If NE can move on, there’ll be convos.

Should have killed the game right there. Don't think the Chargers can come back but they have a lot of things to clean up.

His line has been getting blown up all night.

Literally the only good thing Wilson has done all game.

That was disaster avoided.

I have a feeling Maye & Campbell will be on Bedard's down list this week. Barmore will be number one up
I put Josh McDaniels close to a down. His lack of use of Rhamondre versus Henderson on the ground has been malpractice.

Maye has three fumbles and none lead to a score. He's charmed. But he's got to fix that.

I put that fumble on McDaniels. He's not helping the O-line at all with the play-calling. A screen play would blow open the Chargers. Especially if it went to Williams, Henderson or Stevenson.

Time of possession (both teams combined): 14 minutes

Time of commercials: 172 minutes

Ball security will be preached all week!

I want to rip my hair out. Where is Rhamondre Stevenson
RBs can not run 35 times a game. I still remember this one Indy game in the early 2010s with Manning there when they allowed their RB to run 40+ times... he got hurt late in the game on a run and never looked the same after that.

May have been Denver... but 95% sure it was a manning game.

Vrabel is loyal to a fault. Rolling two rookie offensive linemen out there in the playoffs takes balls and or ignorance. The offense has looked ****ty and is going to cost them one of these games coming up.

I don't understand why they have Henderson running up the middle when his strength is speed outside.
