The worst is the entire country failing to actually reconcile the price of admission for blood sport. Until that is actually addressed on an institutional level, it will continue to devolve into arguments ranging from "women are hoes 4 money" to racist-coded character examinations. The vacancy of meaningful acknowledgment (meaning, rhetorically AND behaviorally/action) lends itself to mental-gymnastics that are seemingly most concerned with reinforcing a viewpoint more than anything else.

Based on the info and the Patriots' response compared to their response about the Diggs incident, this one seems more serious. And based on halftime last week, Barmore shows he has an uncontrollable temper.

Again, I am going to withhold judgement until more info is released, but I expect Barmore is more likely to guilty and get suspended than Diggs at this point.

I agree. It's like clockwork. This stuff always seems to come out this time of year (if the Patriots are looking strong). Although it's usually some B.S. story that comes out the weeks prior to them playing in the Super Bowl. Not sure if the timing is planned in order to compel the player(s) to come to some settlement out of court in order to drop charges.

The fact that both complaints against Diggs and Barmore were filed on the exact same day but neither event happened recently (one was weeks ago, one was half a year ago) is extremely suspicious, to say the least. On top of the fact that, in both cases, I don't see any actual evidence at all. Something stinks.

Tommy has been advocating letting the process play out. He hasn’t favored one side or the other that I’ve seen.

What’s terrifying are people who will twist words and gaslight to foment division.

False accusations are real. That doesn’t invalidate all accusations. It does emphasize the need to carefully and objectively scrutinize all accusations. Anything that undermines or impedes or distorts such scrutiny is evil.
