Wanted to get your expertise on Nix.. why for so long in games he looks meh.. and he brings his team back wich is a great thing for a QB.. but what happens when he's not able to like the recent loss to Jax?

I'm no expert....but
Nix has mastered the Sean Payton offense this season. Payton is very good at scheming open receivers. This team is all in. Nix has missed some throws but has made enough to win the #1 seed. Of course the Defense keeps every game close. He also benefits from a solid offensive line and run game.
It will be hard to win in Denver.
Tom never won a playoff game in Denver...

I'll take the division and the home playoff game but still think Bills should have kicked the XP, the 5 seed is prime real estate this season if you can't win your division.

The Steelers stink and the Ravens blow every big game in the 4th Q, The Eagles couldn't move the ball at all anymore if the Bills kick the XP they eventually win that.

Yep, I didn't get that decision either, They had the momentum and home field, I thought they should have taken their chances on overtime.

It's not BS at all.
When you have an absolute weapon as a QB, you don't need a top 5 WR to win a SB.
How many did Brady win without one (6)
How many did Mahomes win without one?
Again, I would very much like to have a 1500, 12 TD WR, but when you have a top QB, you don't need one to win.
It's far too early to put Maye in the Brady/Mahomes category, but that's where he is ascending.

I want Maye's job to be as easy as possible remember Brady to Gronk?? I want Maye to more than a JAG. A.J. Brown might be available in the off-season he's a lot younger than S Diggs who I love.

Stafford is just fortunate to have Elite WR's from Megatron to Kupp then Puka. I really hope Maye get's that lucky with WR's.

Agreed.. fortunately we have Vrabel and he knows that next season Drake will have a top option here to go along with Diggs.. it's a matter of time AJ is up out of Philly.. hurts has regressed he made Buffalo defense look like the 2000s Ravens..

Bills win that game in overtime. Eagles weren’t going to score again. Bills had all the momentum.

I could see going for two if maybe it was a shootout and Eagles couldn’t stop scoring but that was bad coaching by Buffalo.

I think both Spillane and Williams need game reps heading into the playoffs. How much they play vs Miami will depend on how the game goes. Tonga probably doesn’t need to play but it would be good to get him, Williams, Spillane and Barmore all out there together for a few plays next Sunday.

One player I definitely wouldn’t play next week is Campbell…even if he’s medically cleared. He needs that knee to rest and heal up as much as possible before the playoffs. I’d even consider resting him in the first round, depending on the match up.

Agreed here. On Campbell I'm not anticipating him being back any time soon.. even though not a acl it's still a ligament tear. Spillane could probably have played but being a veteran Vrabel likely felt it's best to have both he and milt getting as much rest as needed..

With all due respect that's BS tell that to Joe Burrow. I was watching a Round table with some QB's talking about their peer have who they admired as a player: Stafford's name came up a lot. He's well respected by his peers even Mahomes made mention of him. My point I Do Not want Maye to go that Brady Route of WR's I would rather him to go the Stafford route. again Maye needs a Young #1 WR Type and young TE. Look at who his peers have as weapons it's not even close. Kyle Williams is improving we need more than Kyle Williams going forward. I know for fact that Vrabel values the WR position more than that GOAT HC Guy.

Certainly agree.
If you swap Maye/Stafford, I would think Rams have no fewer wins, and Pats would have less.
But again, it wouldn't be some outrage if Stafford wins it, he's having a fantastic year.

The offense for eagles has been mediocre all season long.. hurts has Smith, AJ, Goddard at TE and all pro RB.. give Drake that roster..

I'm not belittling Maye, because your theory is correct, but you're light on the wins. This team is dramatically improved all around. Are they a 13 win team with Mac Jones? No. Are they a 3 or 4 team with Mac Jones? Again, no.

To your point, it 100% matters who's under center. But I believe a good QB of game manager level gets them to the playoffs... but not the division. A bad QB get's them under .500 and a great QB gets them where they are today.

Mac Jones is a turn over machine . Everything around him needs to be perfect. I was a mac Jones supporter until he showed that he wasn't the guy.

Drake oozes confidence, moxy, swag, competitive fire , leadership qualities i never saw in mac .

But to your point I agree they would still be around .500 with a lesser QB..

From just an outside observational perview.. I saw a handful of Denver games this season. I just wouldn't continue to count on my QB having to always mount comebacks.

The things I noticed is they struggle to keep up with high octane offenses.. a team like Jax has the elixir to beat Denver.. they have a solid QB and an opportunistic defense. The formula to beat Denver is you make nix a drop back passer.. you attack the CB opposite Surtain in moss

You also get rid of ot quickly under 2 seconds because Cooper and bonitto are some Dawgs

That Denver altitude effects them as well especially in the 4th quarter.

Tom never won in Denver in the postseason your correct.. we did win in Denver in 2011, 2016 at Denver.. regular season games.

I'm not opposed to an alpha #1, not at all.
But...
What would make this team better, adding a bonafide #1 in the offseason, or adding a bonafide pass rusher?
