He was pretty awful in 2023, yet they paid him anyway. He has not changed since. Teams have deadlines to spend to the cap, so Barmore, Dugger, Owenu, Rham and others were in the right place at the right time. None of them should've gotten extensions at the time.well rham was good thats why they gave him contract
It's interesting that Maroney timed faster than Henderson, but it's clear that Henderson has way more game speed than Maroney. Maroney played slow.
When's the last time we've had a second rounder pan out and look like an explosive skill player? Gronk in 2010? That's 15 years. It feels like it has been a long time!Lets hope. Love that weve got so many young guys doing all time great things. Its been fun to watch.
A 2nd rounder succeeding brings a tear to my eye.
Henderson had a really clean combine 40 at 4.43 speed.Yep. There is definitely a difference between track speed and game speed. I think most of it is related to instincts and split second differences in reaction time. Both Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith had terrible 40 times, but both played much faster than their times.
Henderson is 100% better than Faulk who was an excellent receiver: I think Henderson will even surpass him in that area. As a runner Henderson hands down Faulk is nowhere the runner.I see a lot of Kevin Faulk in his game.
We don't need him for a month, anyway.Hope he’s not seriously concussed.
Yeah, let's let him rest and be ready for the playoffs. We don't need him for a month, anyway.
I wanted him to break another couple of 50+ TD runs to set an all time record in his rookie year.We don't need him for a month, anyway.
I only care about goingI wanted him to break another couple of 50+ TD runs to set an all time record in his rookie year.

I don't know that we have ever had a back like Henderson. We've had a lot of very good ones, but I always lamented that when they had a breakaway they would always get run down. Nobody is running Henderson down.Henderson is a home run threat every time he touches the ball. I love Kevin Faulk, and he played a big role in the early dynasty years, but he was never as good a running back as Henderson is. Henderson is more like Curtis Martin than he is Faulk.

Yep. I'm racking my brain trying to come up with a comparable over the last 40 years and I can't except for CMart.I agree, coming up with a comparison for him is difficult, but in terms of upside Curtis was the closest I could get, and Curtis was special.

Pats had one with the talent in the early 90s...Jon Vaughn out of Michigan. Had the gamebreaking ability but was on such ****ty teams.
Well possibly maye could, but from opponents yeah not sureI don't know that we have ever had a back like Henderson. We've had a lot of very good ones, but I always lamented that when they had a breakaway they would always get run down. Nobody is running Henderson down.
