2026 Mock Draft Thread

This is great. Even though it's only a handful of Day 3 guys, it gives you pretty much a BPA Chart/list.

I think the strength in this draft is in rounds 3-4. I don’t love it as a draft for day one starters but I do think it’s good for depth, particularly on defense.

Charles Demmings CB, SR, Stephen F Austin - Senior Bowl.

Not a lot of film on him. But he was the star/leader on an 11-2 team and they are in the FCS playoffs. Playing tonite vs Montana State.

Also got a 2027 2nd (LV) and 4th (Mia).

That draft would upgrade OL TE and RB on offense, EDGE, LB, S and CB on defense. Would also set the Pats up well for 2027.

I have day 2 grades on the Day 3 picks through 190.

Emmanuel Pregnon and PJ Williams should make for a very strong right sided OL. You could also use Pregnon at LG and Jared Wilson at C.

Caleb Banks was BPA, and would form a monster IDL with Williams, Barmore and Tonga. You could also use Williams on the EDGE. Akheem Mesidor and Jake Golday would add a ton of pass rush as well.

Golday plus Jelani McDonald, Treydan Stukes, and Devin Moore would give incredible strength, depth and versatility on the back end.

My biggest regrets were missing out on Monroe Freeling (59), Jardarian Price (119), Zachariah Branch (129), Carter Smith (185) and Justin Joly (194). Should have moved up for Joly. But you can't win them all.

I also got extra 2027 2nd (Tenn), 3rd (LV), 3rd (LA Rams) and 4th (Tenn) picks, and gave up 6th and 7th round picks. 2027 should be a very strong draft, with with 6 top 100 picks plus 2 4ths, the Pats should be able to complete building out the deepest and strongest roster in the NFL.

I just watched a first round mock where he Pats had the following on the board:

TJ Parker
Kayden McDonald
Emmanuel Pregnon
Dillon Thieneman
Denzel Boston - who they went with.
Cashius Howell
Brandon Cisse
Austin Siereveld

I'd have gone with Parker but would have been very tempted by Kayden McDonald just because he's so good and could be considered BPA. Pregnon and Thieneman would probably be my 3rd and 4th choices.

As an aside . . . Since the Patriots have returned to their standard 25+ position in the draft, I don't think I've seen a single mock that punted on having the Patriots pick by trading out of the first round.

Sad i didn't get Mesi... But this isn't bad. These machines are pretty easy to abuse.

Lubin i haven't looked at closely but he was ranked well below 140... LOL. Get that nonsense out of here. Even on a glance he is top 100.

Iapani will not last past 40... IDK why this draft thinks he will.

Eli is being underrated imo. I still think he has 2nd round stuff even if his stats don't back it up. The dude is going to be something in the NFL. The NFL sometimes worries too much about stats. He'll produce, don't you worry. I'd be happy taking him in the 3rd even if a lot of people believe it to be a reach.

Sabb at 130 seems low to me. True i gave gun a 4th round grade myself, but top of the 4th, and a lot of people have him as a day 2 guy. I wouldn't argue too hard against that.

Why is Scott lasting to 94? Did they not watch the games? When i break him down fully I will be shocked if he is below a 2nd round prospect.

Nice of you to say, but it just ain't so. I give decent amateur spins on guys. You can find someone like me any any decent fan board, and probably someone better. No one would or should pay for my opinion. But You, Mayo and Bacon each give out what should be premium paid content on your own. The fact 3 guys like you are on this board at the same time is frankly insane.

Why is Scott lasting to 94? Did they not watch the games? When i break him down fully I will be shocked if he is below a 2nd round prospect.

It comes down to how you grade a nickel only. We saw yesterday how, even as a nickel only, he can heavily impact a game when you're as explosive and physical as he is.
