Mayfield has not been impressive recently even outside of the injuries his team has been dealing with... that is the first big boy throw I've seen in a while.

And... Evans needs to bail him out with the next one. Lack of consistency from the former MVP candidate. Not quite turning back into a pumpkin, but i don't think he'll ever been as good as he was again for as long a period of time as he was earlier in the year.

Sometimes good players get really hot for a short time.

This makes me curious... what would be the record for the most goal line plays in a row a where a team was able to hold the other team to 3 or less points?

I've seen 8 plays before. (2 stops on 4th down with a penalty on the first 4th) but have there been more? Must have been. The longest i can find is 8 from google AI... but there must have been longer at some point. You'd just assume.

Cousins, a guy with his arm on your chest does not entitle you to ground the ball. If they hit your arm while you throw that be one thing... but this was clearly dumping it as a guy was bearing down.

I think GB will win. Denver is a good team, but they can be very inconsistent. And while i think GB isn't quite as good as some advanced stats say, they are very consistent. The kind of team who will take advantage of bad play and not give up leads with cheap big plays as easily. I like that Style vs Denver.

Denver in some ways reminds me of KC last year where they've had a number of things fall there way this year. I think realistically they should have 1-2 less wins than they do.

Toughest place in sports to play. Love can't turn the ball over. Can't help Nix with a short field. Peyton is a damn good coach and game planner.
Weather won't be a factor on Sunday either.

I have some horrible memories of playing Denver. We lost to them in Superbowl 32. Me and my family were celebrating before the game that Sunday thinking we had it in the bag. That was a heartbreaking loss.

Used to. They got rid of real winter about 10 years ago. Folks like wearing flip flops and crocs all the time. Texans and Californians have changed the state more than politically.
