Am I reading this correctly? Opponents are rushing for 5.9 ypc versus Giants!!! Should be something to exploit.....hopefully.
Well.. seen as how we couldn't pick up a yard on one of the worst defenses in football i wouldn't count on it.. the YPC has been an issue all year.. the OL just has no push in the running game.. that's why Tonga is used in short yardage alot.. running to the outside is the strength of the run game..

That Giants Dline is going to feast on Pats backups. They better figure out a plan to handle the rush. Whatever they did against Cleveland didn't work too well.
Giants have 26 sacks as a team. 13 for Burns alone.
I know. It was a shame that we lost that Browns game. I guess we're guaranteed to lose the Giants game, too.

Josh will have to cook up a scheme to overcome the line injuries ala 2018 when the Patriots turned into a power run team in December with Gronk's help. A little more challenging without Gronk so hopefully he can come up with something.

Big ‘bounce back’ game needed here. I was happy as heck to get out with a win yesterday but we definitely need a better effort moving forward, even without campbell and Wilson. Nyg is still very bad but probably a bigger challenge than cincy , whoever the qb is will be healthy.
Yes we need to bounce back from that devastating win.
You people are freaking crazy.

I expect the Giants to come in hungry. I know they got eliminated, but they played pretty well and almost beat DET, so I don't think they'll be packing bags yet. Largely because Pats have the best record, and bottom teams love to knock down frontrunners. I think that's what we saw out of a much less talented Bengals team... who played their best D of the season against us. I think this will be another tough matchup, and a similar game to last week, especially with our OL & DL backups playing.

Right , i had that as a down game for Josh, especially in the red zone. Cost us 11 points and a smooth win

1st and goal from the 1
1st and goal from the 4

NO excuses for not getting tds against the worst defense in the league on both
Yeah Josh shouldn’t have committed OPI and he definitely should block better

Sorry that triggered you so much. I think most would agree we will need a better effort than we got Sunday moving forth when we’re not playing the Cincinnati Bengals. Its okay to admit that the team is human and probably had their first less than stellar effort since week 3. Im confident they will bounce back

They can play exactly the same way and beat the Giants.

I too am perplexed from the 'bounceback' after the win.

Im not so sure about the giants as theyll have a healthy qb. Flacco looked pretty limited to me, same way he played in Pittsburgh after the watt hit. And they lost chase for that game so i think the giants will pose a bigger threat but they still are pretty bad.

Bounce back- id like us get back to how we are playing before Cincinnati. Not see maye take the first quarter off. Hopefully see the run game look how it did between the tn game and nyj games. Not outstanding but you don’t see a rham/rb2 averaging less than 1 ypc. Better red zone execution.

Basically, i think if we duplicate the performance we had in cincy we are very at risk of losing this game since i have nyg slightly above cincy without chase and a banged up qb. That game DID come down to pretty much the last play.

This is correct
We’ve given up 260 yards rushing the last 2 games. 120 to Cincy and 5.2 yards a carry to the third worst rushing team in the league. NYG are 9th best rushing offense.
Not sure which QB will play for NYG, but both can be issues. Winston can most certainly give the ball away, but he can also drop 300 yards+ any Sunday.
NYG have a much better front, and our 2 best Olineman and complete left side is out.
There is nothing wrong with being objective, that is not the same as being negative.
I don’t think we win if we play like last Sunday.

Two teams have had the Pats' number in important games over the years: the Broncos and Giants.
December 1 is an important game for both teams. Monday night.
The Giants' players have got the message that no one's job is safe, so they're playing for next season either as FA's or with the Giants.
The Pats are on a great run. But it's December. They're coming off a mediocre performance (eight plays inside the five yard line?) in a game they should have put away in the third quarter. They're dealing with injuries and have a target on their backs once again. I'd throw out the records and the spreads on this one.
We're getting way, way ahead of ourselves, but I don't like the idea of playing the Broncos in Denver in January.

Agreed, The giants just took Detroit to ot in their place so a duplicate effort by us would be really pushing our luck . Our defense has been pretty clutch for the most part this year in must stop situations but hoping the offense can help them out more on Monday. Hopefully Tonga and Farmer are okay for this one, without williams its alot to miss those two as well.

Henderson and Rham gonna eat. Or so you'd think...
Let not with this again.

So no ABC for MNF now moving forward. Only BSPN. Another concern for this game....

Where to watch since I won't pay for BSPN?

Nuggets play on Monday night too. Will have to watch without sound somewhere in the corner of the bar???

Everything says this will be a hard fought game...injuries, red zone struggles, run defense suddenly vulnerable, etc

Can't shake the feeling, though, that this might wind up being a blowout...in favor of the Pats, of course
I worry with Jameis Winston throwing. He can have some great games.

True.

Does he often have two in a row?

I feel like their secondary could be had, so 20+ yard TDs might be in the offing, negating the red zone offense struggles.

I'm more worried they'll put Gunner Olszewski in as QB.
