I disagree, they played down to their competition in several games. I would say they did that against the Saints, Falcons, Jets and Cincy.

Titans for a bit too.

But they are beating the dregs of the league now. That is a step up from where they were the past few years.

Feels more like a loss with the Cambell injury. Since when is 10-2 supposed to feel like this?
Would of rather took an L than lose Cambell for the season. Who knows? maybe Mr Miyagi is in the locker room?

This was without Burrow and Chase. Reality check, any given Sunday teams come to play.

People were way too confident about this one.

That was a very desperate Bengals that brought their best game possible today. Glad to see we can still beat the weaker teams with a bad performance.

I truly despise the fan reflex to downplay injuries like that. "Oh he's ok but not special it'll be fine."

No, be a fan and be MAD. This sucks. It's a blow. It doesn't mean the season is forfeited or anything but don't piss on us and tell us its rain.

We're in the thick of this no matter what now. The consensus is that the only injury we can't overcome would be to Maye. I agree.

Remember, the Patriots overcame a ton of injuries to go all the way more than once this century. And, Mike Vrabel played on most of those teams.

10-2 is elite

I wouldn’t say the team is elite (despite the record) but they’re good. I don’t think there are any elite teams in the AFC this season

This was tough. It puts a pretty loud record-scratch into our playoff hopes.
1. Campbell - horrible news. (Lowe sucks, and is a major liability going forward) (Brown/Wilson not a major issue)
2. Running O - we showed a major weakness in goal line failures. RZ scoring failures too.
3. Maye was out of sync a lot (Diggs & Boutte only 2 catches on the worst D in the NFL)
4. We barely hung on to beat the worst D in the NFL, and let Old Man Joe and Bengals run game eat us up

We would lose to any team in the first round if we play like this
