Can someone please explain to me where the claim came from that he got McDaniels fired from the Raiders. Sounds really outlandish to me and a load of bollocks.

When Hollins was first signed, several here complained about how few targets he had gotten previously despite many snaps. They weren't swayed when I pointed to the nugget that virtually all his receptions went for a first down or a TD.
Modern football is all about matchups and flexibility - someone like Hollins gives McDaniels a lot of optionality and he's a hard cover for a smaller DB or a slower LB aside from what he brings in the run game.
...they are 8-2, have surpassed everyone's expectations by a mile, and are poised to win their division, how much more success were they supposed to have?
