Likely is a great player. Given Lamar’s reliance on TE I would be surprised if he makes it to the free agency. Think they will cut Andrews and give his money to Likely
Give me Pitts... Pitts with Drake and Josh.. just imagine that...

Mac Hollins is doing what pitts is doing at a fraction of cost and with insanely better blocking .

I understand upside is there for pitts , but we need to really evaluate and see which positions are better served in draft vs free agency . Don't pay top rack money for a guy who is top 15-20 at his position .

We could bring David Njoku in as an back-up next year...he's still got some threads left.

The Average Pressure rate looks to be 3.3%. The Average time to pressure looks to be 2.78.

Onwenu is at 2.3% pressure rate and 2.63 time to pressure.

Compare that to Will Fries who is at 4.25% pressure rate and 2.55 time to pressure.
That makes him below average in pressure rate I don't want Fries either. I think we can afford to go young at RG, especially if we can keep Moses.

The comments were derived off FA 26.. of spots to fill. Pitts is a FA and hasn't lived up to his draft billing. He's still young and hasn't tapped anyway near his potential.

Cost is not an issue here especially with this era of patriots brass. Vrabel's not going to play hard ball with guys.. he will offer them a competitive contract and let the rest speak for itself..

Henry probably will sign a 2 year extension.. beyond that we need to add at TE.. of all the available options at the position Pitts makes the most logical sense to me. Young, athletic with so much more upside.. Hollins I really like is a leader and locker room glue guy. He's role specific here.

You beat me to it.
Gimme Pitts. I think big. Younger, hasn't tapped anywhere near his potential. Drake, pitts and Josh... yeah... all day..

How much of this is on the player. He was a first round pick. Hooper was a first round pick for Atlanta, he was far more productive.

I'm not spending real money on a draft bust, nope.

No thanks. Henry, Hooper, Draft a Guy.

Njoku looks kinda washed to me. Certainly not worth spending actual money on.
Same. Aside from Henry draft a guy.. my opinion is also offer pitts a deal.. we have enough on tape now. where we don't have to ball suck FAs to play here... Vrabel's not in the business of trying to play scrooge with guys on contracts.. he'll offer them a competitive deal and let the rest speak for itself IMO.. they sign great, if not oh well..

You gotta spend real money it's in the CBA and teams are required too per NFL rules.. 2 year 10 million for pitts?

Close...I still wouldn't do it. Dude's a straight draft bust. I imagine some other team will offer way more than that.

Kyle Pitts is still very young seems like he's been playing for a while. A Young TE is Still a Need for us in 26 and I like Henry and Hooper.

#9 ranked TE by ESPN.. 420 yards.. on the season.. probably ends up with 6 to 700.. yeah compared to the hype you could say he is. underachieving. Advantage patiots.. I still like the idea of Kyle Pitts the talent and potential with a real QB, a real OC and a real HC.. 2 years between 4 and 8 million is reasonable..

Ball wash.

Close your eyes and imagine KP catching passes from maye day.. and being schemed open torching LBs in open field..

Austin Hooper? He was a third round pick. Pitts has been a disappointment based upon where he was drafted and expectations, but he averages more yards than Hooper.

I’m not really lobbying for Pitts. I think he’s going to want 12.5 mil a year and I think he’s lacks the sort of qualities that seem to make one sucessful in a Josh McDaniels offense (work ethic, toughness, willingness to work towards improvement)

Njoku, is making > 13 mil. I doubt he’s our guy either

I know Pitts runs like a WR and we have better Coaching. Look at how well Chaisson and Tonga are playing: it's not by accident. Good Coaching can get a lot out of a player: we have been spoiled and fortunate.
