My prediction

1 Pats 8-2 > 14-3 I don't know who they lose to, but it is going to happen once. As long as they get by the Jets without messing up on a messy TNF game i see them as getting healthier and taking the top spot. If they lose to the Jets, it gets tough.
2 Colts 8-2 > 13-4 Indy has a tough finish. I see them losing to KC and SEA... Or they steal one and lose 1 out of 3 of Jagx2/49ers.
3 Broncos 8-2 > 12-5. They lose at least 1 KC. Then 2 of GB/JAX/LAC/other... It gets rough for them.
4 Steelers 5-4 > 10-7. Their D is good. If they take care of business they can win at least 1 of 4 of their hard games left.. maybe split.
5 LAC 7-3 > 12-5. All comes down to if they beat KC again. I think they are built well for it and take care of business
6 Bills 6-3 > 12-5. They are inconsistent at times but they tend to play really well more than not.
7 Chiefs 5-4 > 11-6. They turn it around and look dangerous. Lose 1 to Den and 1 to LAC or someone else.

Ravens 5-5 > 9-8 (Joe Burrow sounds like he'll be back the game after us. So the Ravens get him with the Bengals x2. Pitt x2 Pats and GB. I think they lose 3 maybe 4 from here on out. Remember, they weren't that good with Jackson. If They stay on schedule they go 10-7 and maybe/probably make it. If they lose 1 more than they should... 9-8 (including a split with the Steelers) and they are out.
Jags 5-4 > 9-8. They just aren't good. Maybe they steal one of their 4 tough games but they are bad enough to blow it to a bad team.

Anyway

7 KC @ 2 Colts - Colts! (they actually match up well here and the 2nd time seeing them they are more prepared. KC is due for an early exit
6 Bills @ 3 Broncos - Broncos. They are a tough out at home.
5 LAC @ 4 Steelers - LAC. Steelers are kind of frauds. LAC looks more talented and better coached.

5 LAC @ 1 Pats - Pats! LAC gives them a ton of issues, but eventually losing your 2 starting OTs catches up to them.
3 Broncos @ 2 Colts - Colts - That D puts Denver's O to sleep and they do enough on offense to win.

2 Colts @ 1 Pats - Pats! Pats are well built to stop the Colts.

SB? Pats vs ????

The interesting thing is if the Pats make it nearly any team they are likely to face is a great story line somehow.

Rams? Is this the start of another Dynasty on the back of a Rams win and do the Pats get a 3peat off them this century?
Seattle? Is this their revenge game?
Eagles? Pats are 1-1 vs Eagles in Bowls. That win established our dynasty. This win (them beating us again) almost established theirs. 4 Appearances, 3 wins in 9 years. That is a borderline dynasty like Washington was.
Bucs? This years revenge game for them, but more importantly. Pats play the team that took Brady and arguably a championship chance away from them.

The only team that wouldn't be a great match up i think has a chance to make it is the Lions, but them making it be fun in general.

WAY too early for any of that. 'Pats are getting healthy'? Any given Sunday someone can get injured, let stay grounded, one game at a time. We're onto the Jets.

Maye could quickly get to the top with a few flares to T Henderson and Kyle Williams.
Always felt like Brady had a few 300 or 400 yards games a season and was only top 2 or 3 in the league at a given moment. How is Maye top 5 with none of those? Was the Brady era of QBs really just that good?

If I can wish one thing with the game tomorrow (other than a W obviously) is no injuries, and to put the game away early on and pull out the starters as soon as we are confident the game is over score/clock wise. Short week, Thursday game and another road game next week. I hope we get a chance to run away with the score to afford us to yank Maye and a few other key starters out of the game.

Yeh he needs exposure to the elements. It can completely change a QB's approach. In the snow and rain, it's tougher to throw. Of course, there is no way to force this to happen. Mother nature shall decide.

Brady could play in any elements. It started with the tuck rule game. But he also did decent in the rain vs Colts one year.
Wasn’t there also a really cold snowy game?

Against the Bears?

On Thanksgiving?

If it's Taylor, that might actually help the Patriots a lot, because they'll be able to play a lot more man coverage.
Agreed. I'm hoping he does play.. but seen on how fields just won them a game he probably gets rewarded with the start.

If he didn't.. he would be crying again in his closet..

Live Wolf Reaction.

I can't wait for Miami to throw an absolute bag at him in the offseason.
When I was stationed in Japan we got someone in Rec Services who was disaster.

Looked like a toad and smelled like a wet dog.

The director of Rec services said he was baffled since she had gotten such rave reviews at her previous position.

He mused “why was she getting such rave reviews when in reality…..?”

Then he stopped himself because the reason dawned on him.

Coach Vrabel, be sure to emphasize that the real reason for the Pats success was Eliot Wolf, and how much it will hurt to lose him.

This is what they've been doing. He's doing ALL the media for the front office. He can say what he wants, take credit for whatever he wants. There have been very few instances where he's been contradicted by a 'source' in the media. He's not a bad guy or anything, they're doing him a solid, letting him sell himself to the rest of the league. But you can count the number of Cowden or Highsmith interviews this year on one hand. I bet that Christian Gonzalez mic'd up was the first time any of you even knew what Highsmith sounded like

Eliot Wolf would make an outstanding GM for 31 other teams. Just exceptional. Pats should do the right thing, and not stand in his way.
Hey Woody!

Eliot Wolf was the one who drafted Drake Maye.

Who you rather entrust all of those top picks to?

And it would decimate the Pats if you hired him away from them.

Strike while the iron is hot!

A third franchise has hit the Factory of Sadness.
Clueless owner, horrific front office.
Great player in college.. pipe dream he would be able to excel at the pros on both sides.. I was watching something on him recently he was saying how he feels he's over over exerting himself..

The idea of taking Hunter at #3 always seemed weird to me. A CB/WR tweeter.

People always buy the media koolaid.

I think he could have done it. I think he was the best WR in the draft, and arguably the best CB in the draft.

The absolute worst situation he could have ended up in is one of the Factory of Sadness teams. If say he had landed with the Rams or something, you don't think it would have been a completely different story?

S Sanders comes to mind as a prime example

He will be a great reclamation project for the Pats when they scoop him up for pennies on the dollar after he fails in Jacksonville.

Reportedly a high character guy too.

Mel Kiper won't give up on Sanders, still thinks he's an elite talent.

The NFL is a mediotracy.

I'd take egbuka personally. Love TH.. he's an athlete.. and can do it all. However in the amount of snaps his body has to endure to play effectively on both sides even Sanders admitted it would be difficult.. but yes it could have been a different story with McKay and that offense.. however he's still playing a ton of snaps anyway you slice it..
